    I snagged an original puffy rumple for around $65 on REI, I’d never pay full price for one but I do really enjoy it. Even use it as a throw in the house since it doesn’t catch pet hair. Great review, the poncho clip is a neat feature that sets it apart from some others. I’m considering buying one of the $30 Sam’s Club rumple competitors to have as a spare. Unfortunately without a big sale or as an Outlet item I just can’t justify the price of another Rumple.
    Edit to say: I bought the knock off ‘camping blanket’ from Sam’s Club and it has every feature of the Rumpl and a very similar quality, for 1/3rd of the price of the original Rumpl. If you wanna justify paying more for the same, you should at least choose a higher quality fill in the rumpl.

    I just bought one of the synthetic down ones,£45 in the sale, its awesome so going to buy another in a different design. Its very lightweight, soft and very warm.

    They look awesome, but the size of the first one packed is massive, second might be cool to take along while moto camping.

    Great video, I appreciate the comment about using it as a hammock under quilt. Have you had it on top of you during a chilly night in the hammock? And was it adequate?

    The design is the top reason for an outdoor blanket..?
    How about; does it warm you, does it tear or is it resistant, does it take sparks and heat, is it water repellent, is it resistant to spots and dirt?
    I would buy an outdoor blanket to look good.. useless review for me..

    • @AtHomeInTheFuture
      @AtHomeInTheFuture  Před 2 lety +2

      I do like the designs, but I also love the build quality, warmth, weight and utility of these with the poncho clip.

    Invest in a quality down quilt that will last you for years. More versatile and more bang for your buck.

    These blankets are only useful for Instagram influencer photos. All looks, low quality, fall apart quickly, way overpriced, made in sweatshops. Thats why no serious backpackers give them good reviews, if any review. Portland hipster bullpuckey.

      Well that answers that question! lol
      Is it a super thin denier? I saw one of their pages on Facebook advertising waterproof down blanket, which I thought was interesting, but I wondered how accurate it was or at least how that would translate to weight. The blanket in this video weighs as much as my tent and sleeping pad🤣
