i kinda wish they would quit putting remotes and transmitters in these things and just knock like 75-100 off on the price
yes and better yet, a kit should be offered so you can assemble it proper and personalize it.
It only be 40$ and they’d lose so many sales , I’ve seen guys complaining it’s 4wd . People just want realism besides rc guys

Or knock off .50 for the deans ( it's 2023) and perhaps 60 for the motor and esc and another 40 for the servo 😂. Roller and kit options would hurt profits.
This thing is 🔥 Associated is always coming up with awesome RC’s right when I saw it I was like I’m getting one of course depending on price then I saw the price & yep gotta get one. You don’t see trucks like this the looks are different & different is good.

I used to take lunchtime RC drives when I worked in an office. This would be great for it.

And I think there's a fair bit of chonkiness present in the chassis, those A-arms are *thicc* and the whole thing looks very bashable.
If Associated sells the body alone and unpainted, sign me up.

Cool little truck great job putting the stickers on, i didn't see anyone else put thw stickers on....that really sets it off 💯
The decals come precut which is a bonus. I did need to use a heat gun to apply them properly. It even mentions it in the instructions.
Man I gotta get this and the kyosho Skyline 2000!

It be pretty cool to take that system and throw it in an Aarma granite and just program the SLT Spektrum radio to it. Hopefully you can do that id just swap out electronics and run them that way.

Thanks. They include the decals to do it and they cover the hood perfectly. You just have to remove the grille to wrap the decal over the front.

There’s a mint yellow late 70’s Chevy LUV that is sighted around Philly! This Datsun looks great as well and I love Team Associated but I hear its slow compared to the Fazer.
Pretty sure those are Friction shocks on the Apex2 SPORT platforms. Friction shocks and bushings on sport.
Doh! You’re right! I heard the grease they have in them making a squish sound like an oil shock.

I did say to Associated when they released the original Apex chassis that shorty only batteries was a bad design floor, good to see they have dropped this with their latest Apex incarnation. It looks great but I think it's still way too expensive for what it is

How does it compare to the Fazer Tundra?
It looks great!! But....am I the only one who thinks the price is kinda steep for a brushed vehicle, i know they've changed a few things but it's not a new chassis, my opinion it seems high for a brushed setup that's jus me talkin tho, love the body tho so I might still buy it haha

Why brushed motors seems a bit slow and out dated,got a hoonicorn definitely not a Redcat or Arrma hobby grade.
Looks pretty good but why a Datsun? Can we get a Chevy S-10 body for this platform? It probably has something to do with the licensing being cheaper.
Guessing because there’s so much Chevy going on elsewhere. This is something different. But who knows. I’d love to see an S10 too at some point.
What happened? I remember when AE made race kits. AE is becoming more like HH with rebranded cars from other toy manufacturers. But at least HH separates TLR from Losi.

They still make race kits, but race kits don’t pay the bills. Racing makes up a small percentage of the overall RC market. They sell way more of those other cars. It may even help support the race program itself. It took years for people to understand why TLR and Losi were separate. AE probably doesn’t want to go through that.
