Gear Talk:Chinese Boreal Shirt

  • Ordered one of the fake Boreal shirts: Here's the report.
Took 42 days for it to arrive.
    Not wool: Cotton/Poly Blend
Size: Ran small compared to my Lester River
Color: Lighter than the OD ordered.
Fit: Small and awkward, the face shield is too high and stiff. The shock cord does not slide through the grommets properly, as a result it tries to strangle you!
Weight: Probably half of the Lester River weight
Pockets; No inside pockets like the Lester River
Cost: $42.99 (bought on the half price sale)
Basically it's a light weight hoodie with a face shield built in, in my opinion not worth the money and not even close to what is advertised.

The sweatshirt was free, they sold the shipping lol! It is pretty cool that you actually ordered one to show what a fraud it is. It TICKS me off every time I see the add showing LESTER RIVER and WEATHERWOOL products being shown. If you can get any wear out of it, I guess the 42.00 isn't terrible. It does look fairly well made just out of inferior material. I will definitely share this video! Thanks buddy.

But they should not be showing you one thing and give you something else. I bet if you looked at the info on it it said cotton and polyester. God bless. From Glenn CATT in Massachusetts.
