Thanks for the BMD Film Gen 1 Aces method, I had been using FilmboxLite for a while with the BMPCC. I Wrote to FilmBox regarding only BMD Gen 5 color and they said just try to transform to Alexa Log C. I just tried your method and (subjectively) I think the Aces transform looks better than the Alexa Log C or BMD transforms. However it is straight forward with my Canon cameras, just use Log3 etc.

any slick work arounds for using this plugin with vertical resolution timelines? I often use it to make music videos and then when i have to make vertical clips of that same video for instagram I get beat down

What i can think is that you work your project in 1920x1080 rotating everything by 90 degrees… export and then open a 1080x1920 project drop your clip there and rotate it again

You can use it with any camera.. just set the color space transform to your cameras color and gamma
