everything is always so interesting - love you guys - your little dog is so adorable.
Thank you for your kind words of support.
In the UK air-conditioning set to 22 is called heating
Hi Jill and Jerry! Jill, I think you should call your drink mixture a Canuck Cocktail!🍹
Great idea!! Thanks🍹
Sorry I missed the live. Another great banter onboard!
Glad you enjoyed it
We’ve been on the train twice in Skagway and enjoyed it the most when there was quite a bit of snow still on the ground. If I remember correctly, there are no luxury options available! We love the ride and scenery, but I have heard some folks who were bored! Lois
Good to know! Thanks for sharing.
We are rarely over the low 80’s in our area of Southern California and the 78 degree setting is a bit too warm for us! Lois
For sure!
Take off to the great white north! SCTV was the bomb!
It was!
as usual I am late to the live. Your taiking about the white pass at Skagway. Alice and I did the ride on our cruise to Alaska. WE loved it. One thing you imlied was just watching tree speed by. The train never goes that fast. THe narration was phenomenal . i enjoyrd the history. The viewa were great . The important thing is to do what you ejoy. You will probably think I am silly but that is how Alice anf i think of the beaches on a caribean cruise. No matter the island they all seem the same to me. Ater an hour on the beach I have to ask Alice where are we.? We have not considered the cruise you just completed in Canada and New England. I did not think I would enjoy places I can drive too. . Your videos showed I was wrong. Now that is our next cruise.
That is what we love about cruising. There is so many things to do that people can do what they like best.
In southern Ontario our a/c is set for 22 day and 18.5 night (optimal temp for sleeping). It’s on eco mode to work with hydro rates. Very humid here. We keep it on from May to late Sept. (allergies)
Thanks for sharing
Just came back on Celebrity Solstice . Too cold lol😊, next cruises will be in the Caribbean.
There is something special about a nice warm Caribbean cruise. For one thing it is easier to pack for!
My favorite cruise was the year Seattle play"d New England in the super bowl . We sat on a bench set for six between new england fans and Seattle fans on the other side. he ending was fun for us but very emotional for them. THe loosers told mw after the game that I just didnt understand their dissappointment. I reminded them that we are from Buffalo
Lol 😂
Go Buffalo!
Great live last night. Thanks for the info on Princess dinning we’re booked on the Sapphire Princess in October. Looking forward to the smaller ship. 🛳️
Our pleasure! have a fabulous cruise.🚢
Hi Canucks
Watched your vlog today.
Your comments re : heat and using air conditioning.
We never run more than 72-74f as most economical use of power. Use air conditioning when temperature exceeds 90-94f otherwise use overhead fans(floor to ceiling windows) as is done in Asia to keep fresh air circulating. If humid(we sit at 80-90% for 4-5 months then run aircon as dry to remove moisture and stop mould. Running at 78f is unheard of. Only in winter to warm up do we run 78f.
The Skagway railway is brilliant with amazing views into the valley and river. I love trains but would not travel VIA or Americas Amtrak. Europe and China are the places. Cheers aussie
Great strategy. We definitely need to have the A/C on more for the humidity frequently theses days.
Hi from near Barrie Ontario. We had an incredible time on the June 22nd MS Volendam Boston to Montreal, despite the first 3 days being rained out. We even had a bit of time with my brother in law while in Quebec City. It's hot here. We took in the Essa Renaissance Fair this morning with our older son, his two pre teen boys, 3 year old daughter, and wife. It was lots of fun, and the boys had a million questions about the cruise. Canada Day saw us both in bed with colds, and the land sickness finally kicked in for me. By Thursday, I was more myself. Now I know, drink lots of water. Your tornado story reminded me of 20 years ago while on our way down the Yellowhead highway towards Calgary for the Stampede, on either side of us, thankfully hundreds of feet away but highly visible, were tornadoes. Hubby was driving, our 16 and 12 year old sons sleeping in the back. The older one woke up just in time to see the end of one of them.
Thanks for sharing. Driving beside the tornado was a little scary.
Good to see you again!
You too!
Missed the live. Caught up after. Keep on cruisin😊
Thanks for watching.
Sorry we missed the live, just catching up. I’m afraid your godmother facts might be slightly wrong as p and o Britannia has Queen Elizabeth as godmother.
Great ‘live’ as usual ❤
Good catch - that didn't come up in our research intially, but you are correct. Thanks for the correction.
Hello from central Massachusetts. Just back from an NCL cruise to Bermuda. I'm really enjoying your CZcams videos. I'm curious what you both do when not cruising.
Thanks.
Hi, Mr.Canuck is a meteorologist and Mrs.Canuck just recently retired from the school system.

Thanks for clarifying.
If you up date your app you can book dining on Princess
We were successful booking.
What do you think of the cruise to Hawaii from LA on the princess cruise line. There 16 days that two long.
We are extremely interested in t giving that cruise itinerary a try. We have been debating back and forth for years now whether we feel it would be too many sea days. We know a few people that have done it and really enjoyed it. We hope to check it out for ourselves sometime soon.
@CruisingCanucks we decided to try it we're leaving September 29th so will give you our take on if the cruise was a winner 🏆
@briancook1935 have a wonderful time and let us know what you think.
@CruisingCanucks not sure we can do as good a job as you guys do but will give you our honest opinion .
When are you doing your Princess Cruise in Eastern Canada? What ship? Jc
We will be cruising on the Emerald Princess in the fall.
@CruisingCanucks That is the cruise ship we are going on...leaving Boston Oct 7! Are you doing that one? What a coincidence if you are!
