I made the pizza tonight and it was SO good. I used goat cheese instead of gorgonzola for a bit of a milder flavor and I found one big pear to be enough to cover the whole pizza but I definitely see what you said about losing the pear flavor. Next time I would definitely layer the pear and do two of them. Thanks for sharing this recipe, it is now one of my favorites!
those all look so delicious! one thing i love to do with pears is brush them with a bit of balsamic glaze, and toss them on the grill! by the way, i totally agree with you that pears and blue cheese are a match made in heaven!!!

I always wondered why people never talk about pear, I love it so much and I eat it all the time ! :) Great recipes ! There are many asian desserts that involved boiled, steamed or poached pears, they are delicious :)
