If you're a vegetarian or vegan, you can also do the first recipe, but instead of meat, add texturized soy protein with a little bit of soy sauce and vegetable broth. I personally like it better this way, it tastes just as good and you'll keep it traditional.
What I love about your channel is all the options. Also whenever you do a vegan or vegetarian dish you really amp up the flavor so that in no way are we missing the meat!

Made the classic chilli without any meat. Turned out amazing. It's the spice mix that does the trick. definitely a keeper.
Your vegetarian chili is absolutely delicious!!! I took it to the office & had a number of meat eaters rave over it. I did add two tablespoon of tomato paste because I cooked it in crockpot. I used dried chipotle peppers & they commented on the flavor. Great recipe!!! Thank you...

I have made your vegetarian chili too many times to even count! It is so SO good and I never get tired of it! I make extra to freeze so I always have it on hand to take for lunch or a quick and easy dinner! It's hardy and freezes well. Nobody even knows it doesn't contain meat because the quinoa gives it a meaty texture. Thank you for sharing this recipe!

tonight I made the classic chili and it was so good and hearty. i'm very full after one bowl and am freezing the rest for tomorrow's lunch. didn't have an Worchester sauce at home but it was still really good. thx.
I made the white chicken chili this weekend and it is perfect for fall!! Put everything in a slow cooker (with 3 raw chicken breasts instead of shredded) and cooked on high for 5-6 hours. Instead of jalapeno I used 1 cup of hatch green chilis that were roasted and chopped. Delicious. Served with crumbled tortilla chips, sharp cheddar, and avocado. I know I can always trust Sara Lynn to deliver on good recipes!!!! I can't say the same for most other food bloggers. Everything I've tried from her has been a big win. 💜
So I tried the white chili tonight... WOW! I LOVE IT! So does everyone else!

I kind of combined both the Classic & the Veggie Black Bean recipes, then I split the pot, adding cooked ground beef to one half & Quinoa to the other. My husband say to tell you thanks, for teaching me how to cook...Chili. LOL! We both loved it!

I have made the vegetarian chilli 4 times so far. i crave this chilli it's so good. I only alter it a bit. Not as much cumin, no tomato paste, just the canned diced chilli tomatoes I use, and only one cup of beans and corn. Switch carrots to corn and no red pepper usually, because I never have it. And no quinoa, cause I hate it. Top with some shredded cheddar cheese after and my god it's good. It's only me, so I don't make the recipe in a large pot. I use my slow cooker. I usually cook it when I'm home and put on high for about 4 hours.

Been making your beef chili recipe for 4 years and it’s always a hit with family, friends, coworkers and now my roommates. It’s delicious! I’ve had to adjust the spices, since mine apparently are not as potent, but I’ve kept the ratio just the same because it’s the perfect balance of flavors.
