- All of the costumes and styles Marina Sirtis had as Deanna Troi in Star Trek: The Next Generation, the four feature films and Voyager. Well, I skipped the pregnancy outfit from "The Child" and the nightgowns from the same episode and "Clues."

ahh! Deanna Troi! That blue dress from seasons 3 and 4 was her best (and possibly her most iconic outfit) In my own opinion anyway!!
You can't tell but she had to wear a corset underneath the dress just to keep it wrinkle free.
Dont get me wrong, but she looks way more better in the uniform than in some "cat suite" or what she wore in the beginning of TNG.

ah these were good, I remember when she was asked a question about her outfits at convention, going from gogo dancer to wearing proper starfleet uniforms. How once she stopped wearing outfits that showed off her cleavage, she suddenly became an expert in Romulan Technology. That was a hilarious rant lol
Considering how horrendous some 80s dos were, it is pretty impressive that most of her hairstyles don't age the show.

Counselor Troi was one of those characters on TNG that the writers really didn’t know what to do with in most episodes. She was either making Captain Obvious statements, was too omnipotent in revealing plot lines that removed all suspense from a scene, or was absent from the bridge when an important decision requiring her input needed to be made. That’s why Guinan was way more perceptive and helpful, whether it was helping Geordi figure out why he couldn’t get a woman, explaining to Data why his jokes and the way he told them weren’t funny, or insisting that Captain Picard send the Enterprise C back to the past where it came from and knowing that the timeline they were in was all wrong.
That short dress that showed her legs was actually kind of hot.

One of her first outfits, Marina Sirtis herself later admitted, made her look like an "interstellar cheerleader." A skirt up to her upper thighs, lots of makeup, lipstick. In succeeding episodes, Deanna Troi wore a succession of sexy, body-clinging outfits. How could you take her that seriously? For a series that was supposed to be progressive as Star Trek, that was demeaning to women to treat them like sex objects.

And Dr. Crusher wore regulation Starfleet gear and Guinan wore... big purple robe thingies. So what's the problem?
