And of course this seasons "Face of the Enemy" also was a turning point for her character. So late in the series she became at her best.
We all know that her accent has never been very consistent throughout the series, but also I find that Season 6 and 7 Troi seems to enunciate her words better and more clearly than the first two seasons. Its' only after TNG she has gotten some good voice acting in Gargoyles.
Shipping Imzadi is such a treat! Like Riker knows something is clearly wrong with Deanna in the clip at 2:40 and he wants to help/comfort her any way he can so he tenderly leans in to kiss her affirming yes to her question that he “wants her” and when she says “I need you” he can’t resist her needs! Then at 8:20 the fact she initiates such a passionate kiss as if she’s been waiting to do that for years but never could! I wish the writers leaned into storylines involving their personal relationship more often!

Aside from Troi was suddenly taken seriously as a Starfleet officer, Sirtis thought the standard Starfleet uniform was very flattering on her. She said the producers also thought she looked good in the standard Starfleet uniform and they wondered why they didn’t have her wear one earlier.
I great Troi/Riker moment, it is surprising looking back how close they became at certain moments and distant at other times in the series. Seemed they would almost get back together in Menage a Troi, The Loss, Conundrum (if it weren't for Ro), Man of the People...
I liked the red jumpsuit in season 2, but yes, my 2nd favorite look for her is the standard uniform. I didn't like the gray jumpsuit or the dress. She looks amazing in the white gown and later the form fitting gown in "Man of the People.". I don't care for "Face of the Enemy" though.
@moviesRockCool Thanks! :) No particular season has the most about their relationship as they never got together in the series. So when Riker's duplicate is found in "Second Chances," that's the best relationship episode. They start to rekindle things in season three's "Menage a Troi." They get back together in the movie Insurrection due to the planet's effect then of course Nemesis continues that. ;)

Well, Troi and Worf's romance first happened in the laternate universes in "Parallels" then in Troi's hallucination in "Eye of the Beholder" then Worf was after Troi when they de-evolved in "Genesis" and finally they were together for real in "All Good Things..."

Frakes will always be a stud...he got to work with what i think the two most beautiful women on television from the 80s and 90s...marina and genie francis. I miss tng. I miss episodic star trek. I liked that each episode was a different story...so if i didnt care for one story then it wasnt but an hour and there was an entirely different story...although i like almost all the tng episodes including season 1 stuff but season 6 was my favorite season of any star trek show.
I believe Season Six was the best season for Deanna Troi. You finally got to see a much stronger Troi with some attitude.

We have to thank Captain Jellicoe for getting her into the standard uniform. She actually looked better in it than the grey jumpsuit.
