The amount of trust Oner placed in Faker in that Game 3 Azir moment was incredible. You can hear in his voice at 8:05 that waiting to engage is making him anxious and still he waits until Faker makes the call. Top tier teamwork.

I used to be one of those shotcallers in my low-elo team where I'd just say "look for teamfight or just look for my engage". But his is just on a different level of shotcalling, i guess this is a culmination of all his experience showing in this game

Ashley put it perfectly about how Faker needs one more trophy. Although he's already recognized as the undisputed goat of league, I think that one extra trophy to make it his 4th will solidify his status even more.

What's insane is how long Faker has been going. 11 years now. Back in Season 3 we were talking about how SKT is a legendary esports team, starting with Boxer. Now Faker has even passed him.
Caster Jun is such a boon to League of Legends Esports. His passion and love for the game is unquestionable. South Korea is very fortunate in many ways, they have the GOAT caster and the GOAT player.

Because i think Faker is like all the good plays we did while playing this beautiful game we all loved. he grew up while we grow up. its been more than 10 years. i dont know how many more years i can play games or league but if he wins one more worlds, i'll feel complete about my league journey. because he is like the 'us' in competitive scene. he is the best plays, best moves we all did, best games we all played. he is 'the legend' of the league. and i dont want to say goodbyes to this beautiful game without seeing him winning another world cup.
Thats why most of us resonate with Faker. His journey is truly a reflection of all of us. We went through all the ups and downs with him and life in general. If he wins, he can show the world that even if you fail, you can always come back up on top.

i started playing league the year faker became a rookie! i have only played the game against people once in the last 3 years and have only good memories of the plays of the champions i used. to say i have been a Faker fan is an understatement! i have moved on from playing and having my family but i still follow faker and T1! Faker winning another trophy will actually mean alot for me for some weird reason!
Faker always created a super play that will be recorded and rewind in Riot world LOL highlight history of all time.
Huni speaking really good english is one of the best things ive seen, i remember those times with Reignover in Fnatic, winning 17-0 split, he didnt speak english at all, look at him now, he can transmit his funnyness in english love it!

Thank you LCS production and Jatt for this amazing footage of T1's story thus far in the Worlds. At 14:43 I think I noticed two things. One- that he is impressed on how LCK fans appreciate Caster Jun's enthusiasm toward his region, Second- Jatt's impression that one day he wants to be cheered by the LCS fans when one of the LCS teams make to the finals. As a fan of both LCK and LCS, I wish nothing but the success and prosperity in LCS's run next year!

I remember the day when SKT was the favorites to win but many wanted a different champions. After 2017, it feels like Worlds haven't been the same since Faker miss out a lot of Worlds and Finals. Last year, it shows that Faker was the one making the viewership skyrocket but last year was a fraud for me, now it makes me feel like T1 got robbed of their well deserved title which makes me root for them this year even more.
It was so cool to hear from Huni. I love to hear stories about Faker.

Everyone deserves the title, I'd say faker has fought so many years for it. But Oner, he's been talked down for so long, and he's proven he's an amazing player. For me he deserves it the most.

I'd say both Oner and Guma have been the front bearers of all the flak, Guma especially with his title back then of "the best ADC in the world" not being able to perform or win it big, the two of them have been pushing for it and stepping up all through swiss, quarters, and now semis. Not to mention Keria and the heartbreak loss from last year trying to redeem himself, and Zeus carving his name step by step facing some of the best toplaners the LPL has brought out (Bin, 369, and now TheShy), it's safe to say each of them have a Cinderella story in the making, and this year would be the perfect conclusion not just for any individual player, but the team, the org and it's fans as a whole.
the look of love in Jatt's eyes watching Faker and T1 make that play mid with Azir onto Ruler is so heart warming. Lets go T1 !!
Faker's greatest strength is his understanding of the game, he knows so much to the point he can almost predict every situation accurately. On top of that, he's been playing for 10 years now so his experience helps in a lot of ways.

Idk what happened maybe because of the high chance of this T1 roster being disbanded after this or something else but a lot of people unlike last Worlds are wanting T1 and Faker to win Worlds. It might because of the statement back on Summer of LCK when Faker isn't there and they saw how T1 crumble so hard without him that a lot of people doubting him begans to question their hate for him. The dude might not be as flashy unlike his younger years (but he still show some flashy moves up until now) lot of casters acknowledge him as just a facilitator only but they know how much he brings to the team. He still not behind to those who climb the ranks this past few seasons. Even if he don't win domestic or international titles this past seasons, the fact that people still see him and T1 on quarter, semis or finals it's like bruh the dude is still on his prime up until now.
Reason Caster Jun says he is not confident : Korean fans have some kind of meme if you get to hyped about one team, they'll lose. It happened to 2019 t1, g2, 2021 dwg, 2022 t1, 2023 gen.g
So we have to be careful what we say and do some good things.
Recently, They get hyped for the opponent teams. If you can read korean and go to korean web, they go like "Weibo is so strong! I can't wait for The Shy lifting his second trophy" They call it voodoo trick.
It's really not that specific to Korea, you'll see plenty of T1 fans saying T1 has no chance just for the reverse curse lol

I never met the guy but Faker is someone super special for me and someone i want to see WIN!!! To hoist that trophy one more time! To witness his greatness one more time! To see him at the top one more time! To celebrate him one more time!! I want to see him get his worlds trophy one more time before he retires! He was the reason i played league back in the day and the reason i still watch league of legends tournaments!!! Faker is GLOBAL when it comes to league!!!
