@@TheDexi256 u didnt get what i mean, if there ever will be an ADC meta again (where the adc can solo win cause of skill, there you go now u should be able to get what i mean) than Guma will be unstopable. this meta right now u rely on teamplay getting everyone ahead or get a good wombo combo. U cant single hadely win the game as adc from min lets say 5-10 its impossible.
Out of all the ADC, Guma was the only player I've seen so far who make ADC look like a mage and poke you to death. Especially his Lucian, it was outrageous. Last time it was ADC meta, he was surviving every teamfight 3 v 5 mostly with the help of Keria. That was before they were touted as best bot lane duo.
I hate that people always trash talk him. I have been following this roster since it was formed, and let me tell you that he is THE ONLY one, who always plays perfectly, and does everything as correctly as possible. I always focus on him when I watch T1, even the casters miss a lot of what he is doing. Last year when Faker ulted Ruler with Azir, no one mentioned the stop watch from Guma which allowed him to revive with the bail out, and push to finish the game. If he died the game wouldn't have ended. People never consider him as one of the best ADCs, because of his team, but he really is among the best, if not the best. Peyz can't hold a candle to him. Peyz is always spoon fed kills, and his team plays around him. Guma is always left alone, stolen kills from, and he always goes even or wins in laining phase ALONE. To prove that he is so consistent, when this year in MSI he had a bad game against G2, the castes were confused, because they were used to him doing his thing for the team ALL THE TIME. @@freddie4682 bruh guma was talking in interviews that he wasn't even playing at his 30% of potential during the first part of that MSI 2022. As much as I hate seeing players being trashed, he received all the laughs because of that. If can't ego talk like that and expect no hate at all after you fail.

my hot take is that if any other top adc were to play with the current T1, they would mental ff after 1 half split of having no one to peel for them . Guma managing to always stay even when playing alone is quite impressive
delusional, he has the best support in the world with him. Put Viper in there and you win the god knows how many finals you lost againt Gen. G. Guma is great but nothing exceptionnal
@@cryph-9037 Viper > Guma but he wouldn't suit T1's playstyle at all. The only reason Keria can make the plays he makes is because Guma is the best laning ADC in the world. Put any other ADC there and they'd be complaining immediately
Guma is such a skilled, consistent adc I can only hope he becomes the next “legacy” player after Faker. He’s such a fun charismatic showman.
wish you could've added this year's MSI where Gumayusi truly showed his consistency as his team crumbles around him. so much praised has been said to him this MSI, and even considered as most consistent ADC this tournament (by some). he's mostly overshadowed by his teammates, and as he said when he's truly shining (one time he got POG) its when his team is in trouble :(((
he's the most consistent player in this roster, and his mentality is really strong too. i just wish the day will come when guma can go back to his hyper carry champs and get bail out of senna duty. this man can do more than collect souls and play senna every game, T1.
btw, great video! i have not seen many videos of guma so far and i hope he will get more recognition in the future.
T1 just got griefed by lane swap meta. zeus, guma & keria are lane bullies. lane swap meta made it so opposite teams can just decide not to lane vs them. Senna duty is only bad because of lane swaps, he been smurfin in lck with it. Guma's senna also allowed keria on orn/tahm/naut to get farm and allowed him to have more agency over the game. Zeus was smurfin in lck blind picking aatrox, but has to play tanks in lane swap meta or he'd get punished hard.

@@MultiKillerface the laneswap really messed up their tempo. but dont you think T1's draft need an improvement? yes the senna ornn naut tahm worked in the lck but in internationals, esp this msi, it didnt work for them big time.
@@hexflas i think this whole msi performance isnt worth getting hung up on. The team was exhausted from all the brand work they had to do after worlds 23, faker has his injuries, theyve gotten ddosed in lck playoffs still went 5 games in the finals vs current msi champs and then msi turns into a lane swap meta.

Gumayusi's haters don't like to hear it, but Gumayusi has been the most consistent and reliable T1 player ever since Worlds 2022! He is actually good, but his haters say he is successful only because of Keria, but the fact is other way around! Keria and T1 are successful because of Gumayusi!
I agree. While I think guma isn't as good as someone like viper, and keria has the most insane peaks, guma is by far the most consistent t1 player
@@KnightlolLPL With all respect, I don't see Viper or Payz on Gumayusi's level. Viper needs a better support who can match his play style to fully unlock his potential, like in EDG 2022. If you watch their matches against each others in the past years, Gumayusi mostly won the lane and game! As for Payz, although he has been winning LCK for the past two years, but he has never been the primary reason for GenG's victories (compared to Gumayusi that mostly is because of him); it was mostly due to jungle or top lane gaps. A prime example is the MSI 2024 final, where he was getting heavily spoon-fed. The only one I put above Guma is Ruler. I think Guma needs another solid year to catch up to him.

As a bot lane main since season 2, guma and Keira are my fav bot duo ever. Guma’s consistency with Keira’s creativity and champ pool is a killer combo
I'm the biggest guma glazer known to mankind so this is probably very biased but I think if guma continues to play this consistently and improve, he could be considered the goat ADC in a few years
Honestly, even if he doesn't improve, but just maintains form, he'd still be considered the GOAT in a few years.

Worlds is where i trust gumayusi to be above anyone even if he perform worst in spring or summer the guy has only worlds in his eyes.
If T1 make the effort to consistently put resources into Guma, he will be even more of a monster. It’s hard to when Zeus has been better than almost every top laner for a while now, but he’s hit a rough spot with the current meta. With ADCs looking to be the focus next, we could see the most terrifying version of T1 yet

if it becomes meta again, and guma learns zeri, no one is stopping him. Guma was generally good at hypercarries, but unusually wasn't as good with his zeri. thats the only champ he needs to learn when hypercarry meta comes back

Guma needs zeri on a hypercarry meta like faker needed azir before on a control mage meta. Hope he finds consistency on all ADCs in the future going into worlds
If Faker retires, and they are forced to rebuild and can only maintain 2 of the 4 bcoz they would be expensive, it would be Zeus and Guma. They're the least affected when Faker was out, while Keria and Oner legit looked like Azir's sand soldiers
I actually agree, Zeus is just too good to give up on and Guma is actually that guy. I feel despite Keria's struggles at times, he's also just too good to drop.

These comments hurt my brain. Hyper carry meta. People just talk without bothering to even watch games. Weakside gumayusi Is the best guma. We saw when zeri was busted last year even peyz looked stronger than guma. Nevermind viper or ruler. He is a Weakside adc. The best ever Weakside adc infact. Sitting alone or destroying early like jkl. Zeri being meta is bad for guma. We even saw it this year

Guma rlly shows up in certain matches, but I'm kinda annoyed by people so often pointing out his consistency when Guma rlly tends to devolve into a kda player in the moments his team falls behind and has little to no impact and is in general very gold inefficient. Tho it has gotten better this year and I hope he can continue to grow.
