It’s crazy they get paid a “bonus” to basically do their job 😂 on top of an already high weekly salary

Uhhhhh, yeah. That's how bonuses work. You have a minimum guaranteed salary and then an additional compensation if you and your company does well. For most of us, companies have forgone bonuses. They just pay you at lower rev scenario and keep everything extra to "invest in the company." Probably why some of us think the concept is weird, but yeah, the bonus is for you doing your job haha.
what happens with these bonuses if you leave in january? do you still get the money for the points earned in the first half of the season if the team stay up?

I find it baffling that they care so much about the extra bits of money and actually play for the bonuses when there weekly wage after a few years playing is enough to last you in luxury for life!!

Doesn't surprise me that he bonuses for the cups are so low, the prize money is awful. Winning the FA Cup is something like a cumulative £1M prize, I think clubs get more for winning a single CL game

Its rare those teams win the cups is because of that attitude! How can it be a distraction with the amount of players are in teams now? And i still don't get how a super fit twenty something with a chef, all the best medical things you can get ,gets so tired 😂. Its two hrs training and maybe 180 minutes running which max is about 20k a week and mainly only play one game a week! I seriously don't get how they can be tired??

The reason why teams don't prioritize the cup is that there's no money in it compared with the PL. Club doesn't get all that much money from the cups, hence they prioritize the PL where the money is greater.
