Then few months back I again went to my ENT where he told that I have pharyngitis and advised me some tablets and to stay hydrated. Actually for past 3-4 day on my right side my inner cheek near my wisdom tooth or 3rd molar i am feeling very unpleasant and i have also started seeing red spots there. Because it's placed higher up in the mandible and so wenever we take a lower radiograph and place a film it doesn't cover that area.. moreover for the maxilla..whenever the patients opens the mouth and we take a radiograph for maxillary molar region..there is downward and forward movement of the mandible..therefore it can be appreciated on the Periapical region of maxillary molars as a triangular radiopacity..I hope I answered your question..if u still have a doubt u can msg me..
