Great review. I note it also the cube isn't wrapped in more plastic inside as well, so another plus. Hope there's a 4x4 coming as well.
Immediate buy for me. I've been waiting for ballcore big cubes and I'm glad that X-Man came out with the first one, given how good the tornado V3 was, this was a no-brainer. Now we just need a 4x4 with a ball core... I'm still using my WRM and while it's fantastic, the added stability of extra magnets would absolutely be a game changer for this event. Also by the way, nice to see a solid hoya 5x5 solve.
I'm really excited for the Gan 5x5 and I also want to try the X man Hong 5x5
I love to see a new 5x5 even thought I know that I won't get it because I don't solve 5x5 enough, and my MGC is all I need.
How does it compares to the MGC btw ? Is it more tactile, more "squared" feeling ?
A 5x5 with ball-core that feel set up out of the box, sign me up. And sorry that you missed your FMC comp.
What is your opinion Shaun, is it an MGC killer?
I wonder if with the UV coating, how difficult it would be to change the color-scheme on it, or if I should even try to.
I've been thinking about buying my first 5x5 for a little bit and I might get this one depending on the price (I hope the 50 dollars for pre order isn't the actual price)

It looks great but it is unfortunate that there’s not black plastic option.
Lmao seen other reviewers say the same thing about the packaging ie. it’s super unique and new and never been done before, bruh they swiped it straight off teh GAN14
I went and checked and GAN sent me the 14 in a different box so I have never actually seen the one with the pull tab.
