  • If you have ankle pain that feels like it’s coming from the inside of your ankle, you can use tape to support your foot and ankle. This type of tape is also called ‘kinesiology tape’ or ‘sports tape’. It helps to stabilize injured ligaments, tendons and muscles.

    Hello! Thank you for making a video like this!! I saw the caption of the video, and then in the video you mention just pain in your ankle so I wanted to ask you a couple questions as a follow up if that is okay! Is the taping the same/similar of you have pain laterally instead? Or if you have joint pain both medially and laterally are they combined in some way???
    Sorry if those are stupid questions, I tore multiple ligaments laterally in my ankle, and then my posterior tibialis tendon is causing havoc medially and was just wondering if the taping placement would change. Thanks a bunch in advance, you rock for making content like this!!💪🏽💪🏽

    • @FeelGoodLife
      @FeelGoodLife  Před 11 měsíci

      Hello, @tiara8429! Thank you for reaching out and expressing your appreciation for the video. I'm glad you found it helpful. Your questions are not stupid at all! It's important to understand how taping can be adjusted based on different types of pain and injuries.
      Since we aren't able to do a physical exam and see exactly what is going on with your knee, in your specific case, with torn ligaments laterally and issues with the posterior tibialis tendon medially, it would be best to consult with a healthcare professional such as a physical therapist or an athletic trainer. They can assess your condition and provide you with specific taping techniques tailored to your needs. They may also recommend additional treatment options or exercises to help with your recovery.
      Best of luck with your recovery, and I hope you find the relief you're looking for. Keep up the positive attitude! You rock too! 💪🏽💪🏽

    Everyone has "kinesio tape"

    • @FeelGoodLife
      @FeelGoodLife  Před 11 měsíci

      Hey, @Coolfacts-hy4cc. Kinesio tape is widely available for purchase both online and in physical stores. Here are some common places where you can buy kinesio tape like online retailers, sports stores pharmacies or drugstores, medical supply stores, and/or physiotherapy or sports medicine clinics.
      If you don't have kinesio tape available, there are several alternatives you can use for various purposes. Here are a few options: Athletic tape: Elastic bandages, Adhesive bandages, Self-adhesive sports wraps, and Strapping tape.
      Remember, while these alternatives can provide some support and relief, they may not have the same therapeutic benefits as kinesio tape. If you have a specific injury or condition, it's always best to consult with a healthcare professional for personalized advice.
