  • In this short video, I explain everything I know on how to maximize your rust fps/performance / Fps boost and reduce stutters/lag. Every time I reinstall windows or my game I always make sure to do this as it helps a ton in making the game smooth and enjoyable and I hope it does the same for you guys too!
    Launch options: -high -gc.buffer 2048 -maxMem=14000 -malloc=system -force-feature-level-11-0 -cpuCount=4 -exThreads=8 -force-d3d11-no-singlethreaded
(for a 4 core 8 thread CPU with 16GB of RAM)
    Cache clear bind:
    bind o "gc.collect"

Idk if it’s because I’m on a 100 pop atm but my fps just went from 80-90fps to 170-180 fps, also enabled xmp on my memory tho 2133 - 3600 so maybe that’s also something that effected it

The restore point just saved me from nuking my main drive.
So basically, I was following your guide. And at the Nvidia GeForce Experience software, I tried installing the newest drivers. But little did I know that it would softlock my pc, and then when I restarted it, I would be unable to even reach the sign in screen, even when I booted in safe mode. But I found how to access the restore point and now everything is back to normal lmao.

You can notice a difference with 60FPS 60Hz and 200FPS and 60Hz. I'm pretty sure it's more of a responsivnes thing tho. But it still makes huge difference Linus did nice video about it testing various Hz monitors/FPS with different people and found that pretty much everyone performed better and felt increase in FPS above monitor refresh rate and biggest jump was between 60 to 144hz after that not many people could recognize which is which (144hzvs240hz).

Full screen isn't just about more FPS, which is negible 1-5fps most times if that. What it truly does is removes latency to the game, because your PC is focused on the game. In borderless, the game wont take priority always over other programs. So introduces possible input lag or screen delay(which is alot harder to notice), depending on your setup.

If you have an issue with other games just showing a black screen after using these settings, just go back into NVIDIA Control Panel and change your Vertical Sync. I'm not sure which settings is best to put it on, I just put it as ''On'' when playing other games.

    • @guzuv

hello good video, I have a question I had some fps problem for 2 weeks because of an update that was made on the game, I had the opportunity to settle it but now the new update day of the month I can no longer and I have considerably lost fps I saw that you had the same cpu and a little ready the same configurations as me does the decrease in fps affect you too? Thanks, have a good day

Some reason players just seem blurry now and further away any reason for that?

“Quit grass” works just as well saves you like 100 fps

Maybe a bottle neck issue? Idk anything about PC’s but that seems like the only possible problem

    how to boost fps
    update & upgrade your gpu 8-16gb , ram 16-32gb , ssd-- bios
or just create a rust server and play alone.
