Thumbs up pls.
Thanks for adding these for mobile. How did you do that?
I used WEBDVD. But what I did here is only an extra of the Software.
With WEBDVD you can extend your online videos ( CZcams or vimeo) with chapters for a better videoplayer experience on your webpage. Simply exchange your CZcams embeds with webdvd.
It is a webapp, running on any browser on any device. More infos on the website: www.vidibook.com/webdvd .
Sorry, I forgot. Here is the WEBDVD of your great Nord Piano 4 demonstration:

One of the most comprehensive videos on the NP4 out there! Very well done.
Thank you!
@@bonnersmusic Can we clear up whether this is the same action as the NP3 ? I understand it will still be Fatar but has it been played with ? No mention of it here while PianoManChuck insists that it's been tweaked at least and way superior to the previous model, the NP3.
I keep coming back to your videos- no fluff, well thought through, effective...
I just listened to multiple reviews of the NP4- this is the most helpful review out there. Goes over all the features, and I mean ALL. Order of presenting certain features was well done and thought out. The camera zoom shots on the panel helped me see exactly what he was changing on the board to connect to what I’m hearing. So I got the visual and listening aspects. Stellar.⭐️
I’m a keys player on the worship team at my church. We just got the NP4 model for our stage. Thanks to this video, I feel a lot more comfortable with understanding the keyboard and making the ideal sounds I’m looking for in our worship set lists, as well as setting the atmosphere.
WELL DONE. THANK YOU. 🙌🏼
It's a very comprehensive and useful tutorial, thank you very much
Excellent run through on the Nord Piano 4 with effortless expertise. Thank you. BTW, I also thought of Mark King (that's a compliment!)
This was super helpful. I had not even considered this keyboard until this video. I think this is the one I'm going to purchase over the Roland RD-2000. Major sound difference.
Excellent demastration! I need to buy this!
Nice tone! Glad I have mine!
Excellent review, thanks.
That reverb sounded really great
Perfect review Maestro 🎼🎹🙏
AMAZING!
Thanks for this video :D
Mark King looks younger every day.
thanks for this. you just saved a brother
The sound that I hear is it from the monitor of nord? What a sound!
Looks like Mark King from L42 😊
Thanks for this video 😉
Well done finally a proper NP4 video - from the USA,, thanks
That royal grand 3d sounds just like the ravenscroft 275 piano
Great review !! The best one ! What is yor opinion about keys, a little bit noisy, no ? Nice play, thank you.
I bought this keyboard about a month ago and am very happy with it. The keyboard action is excellent just like what PianManChuck describes in fact much better than I anticipated. When playing with both hands the sound is beautiful. The base keys below middle C is where it is lacking, but none of these keyboards are perfect and after trying a few of them Yamaha P515, CP88(Sucks), Grand Stage, Roland 2000 - I bought the Nord because the sound is beautiful and the keyboard is fantastic. No electronic Piano compares with even a cheap real acoustic piano so if you are looking for something to imitate a real piano then your search will be in vain. Even Yamaha's $20k+ electric grand does not come close to a real piano.
I just got mine and I expected the keys to be more ivory like and less plastic feeling. Also the action is quicker and more springy than I expected but overall I do like it
checking to see what speakers he's playing through? If these are just the onboards it's pretty outstanding. if not, a recommendation for good speakers for a mobile set-up? Not huge cans that have to be lugged around, just something really nice to hook to that maybe can be suspended from the piano for solo bar gigs?
the owners manual also know as the thing you dont need until you lost it
sounds great! question: are speakers build in the piano?, for best results is it advisable to budget for an external sound system? Thanks
All of the $2000+ (don't know in pounds) stage pianos require external speakers. Studio monitor pairs work great for home or studio use. The Roland RD-88, which is about half the price, is the only stage piano that I know of that has on-board speakers.
my boi knows his keys
Also, can you add reverb to just one of the sounds in a combined sound? Or, does the reverb basically effect everything?
Why doesn;t have this Nord Piano 4 a mod wheel?
If I have changed the setting with different sounds, will it reset again once I turned the piano off and turn on next time?
I am excited to buy this! However, I am disappointed that there is no mod wheel or pitch bend. Any workarounds available?
EB Keim you may be able to hook in a midi keyboard with a mod and pitch bend and use that. Look into it, because I’m not positive of anything.
Hi, quick question, does this have built in speakers or do you need to buy external? Cheers
There are no speakers included. Cheers, Nathan
But... can you turn on the effect of one effect buttons to apply to both the piano and the synth modes?! Or, are you forced to choose between piano and synth when applying certain FX to each layer?
Nice. Would you Say a Nord piano 4 would be complementary to my kronos2 for acoustic piano sound ? I like my kronos2 but feel the piano sounds a bit lifeless.
question. how come Nord piano 4 hasa harder keys to play than Nord stage piano 3.....plz advice
I have a question regarding this piano and CLP 685, as I had seen you reviewed both of them; which one's action is closer to a real piano? Because at the moment there isn't any shop near me where I can test them side by side, I wanted to know your opinion. Thanks in advance.
I imagine that's a difficult question to answer since the action on different real pianos varies widely ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm pretty sure, the action of the CLP 685 gives you a way more realistic feel, than the Nord does. I know that Nord has a silly term for their action, but that doesn't change the fact, that it's basicly a pretty standard weighted key action. The Yamaha on the other side, uses full lenght wooden keys with individual counterweights, so it will feel much more like a real piano (it will be much heavier tho, so keep that in mind). If you want something in between, you might wanna take a look at the Kawai MP-11SE, which has a action probably even better than the Yamahas (comes down to personal peference), but comes in a similar form factor like the Nord. Hope i could help you somehow :).
We recently bought the Nord Piano 4 for our church. It has great sounds and features, but the action is comparable to my 13 years old yamaha CLP. I'm pretty sure the action on the modern CLPs is mich better, even if the sound quality is way worse.
Why does this one have 3 pads and Nord Stage 3 only two?
nord electro 4 sw73 vs nord piano 4 Which is better?
Tiene algun bajo electrico?
Does it have built-in speakers?
Wait, you can just accidentally overwrite a preset and can't get it back? Or?
How many instruments in Layers mode can he do at the same time please ?
As far as I understood it's 2, one from piano section and the other from the synth section
@@nishantwilsonhoro5057 Because i always play with 1 Piano , 1 Epiano with Octave 1 , and Strings in same Time .
This may sound stupid, but do you connect this keyboard to an amplifier or a speaker? If so, which do you recommend?

What song was this at 03:01 the keyboard really sounds nice.
It sounds like "Saturday in the Park" by Chicago but not exactly?!
Was just a 6-2-5-1 but very close to isn’t she lovely by Stevie wonder
was wondering too cus it sounds really nice
Why does this Nord miss the mod wheels?
Because they want you to buy the Stage 3 just for that. That's ridiculous. But it's true.
Can use headphones with this?
Absolutely
I like that brand sir......Please how much it cost in Australian dollar?
Does this not have a built in speaker?
No it does not!
Vs Yamaha CP88
The sound on the CP88 is thinner than on other Yamaha keyboards. I think this Nord Piano 4 is among the best out there and certainly beats anything Yamaha has in the price range which is why I bought it. I understand the Kawai MP11SE is very good also or maybe even better but I never got a chance to try one out. You have to try these keyboards out real time before you buy them, don't make the mistake I made and buy one sight unseen which is what I did with the Yamaha P515 - Action is too heavy, heavier than any real piano.
