What a wonderful, insightful and well researched video! So here’s a comment for the almighty algorithm from a new subscriber who watched Dacob's live stream). As a Vivienne Westwood kind of guy I loved the black dramatic dress with that beautiful draping. Liebe Grüße aus Salzburg!
Thank you so much to help the video to get seen, Dacob's community is the best! That was one of my favourites too - Westwood is perfect for red carpets. Maybe we should crash the "red carpet" of the Salzburger Festspiele in Vivienne Westwood :D Liebe Grüße aus dem Osten!
Ooh Hunter always Deliver Divines🥺 love her🔥 I didn't liked the Naomi dress it's too skeleton for me. I preferred old one the OG dress. I wish Anya Taylor ditch Dior ...ugh🙄
I really like Hunter Schafer‘s looks also. And agree, the original Chanel was more classy, I find. Maybe it was also the styling with the sleek hair. And yeah, I‘d love to see much more of Anya Taylor Joy in other brands
I think you should reconsider your praise of Lily Gladstone in Balenciaga and her stylist: please take a look at the necklace, it's too small for her neck, it's almost strangling her - do you consider that good styling? The dress - the original is far superior to this recreation...what elevates the recreation from the original? I'd rather see her in the original with a necklace of the appropriate size for her neck.
I can see your point with The necklace. Regarding the dress, I never said that the reinterpretation was superior - I‘m actually quite critical of them as I say later in the video. But I do think it looks good on her.
@@PinkLookbook I do agree about 'reinterpretations', I'd rather see the original garment and think stylists should comb the archives of Lagerfeld Chanel for looks, that would be better than the current runway Chanel. In regards to the black & white 'new look', the black hat looks heavy, something closer to the original would have worked better.
@@JoeTheLion1 Interesting, I liked it more than the black and white version. But I still think my issue is that the suit is so iconic and it feels a bit lazy just producing these new versions
Refreshing points of view. Great insight! ❤
Thank you so much ❤️
Thanks such an insightful rundown
Thank you!
Thank you for sharing the rules for Cannes. I never knew there were any.
I always thought it was the “usual” rules for a red carpet, but they state them very clearly on their website

@@JoeTheLion1I agree with the hat in black. Somehow it feels really „heavy“. What did you think of the red version?
@@PinkLookbook I thought the red was a total stunner, head to toe.
