EMILY IN PARIS SEASON 4 OUTFITS (Decoding the looks of the first 5 episodes)
Bienvenue dans ma video sur Emily in Paris. The first 5 episodes of Season 4 have just been launched and needless to say, Emily and her squad are the talk of town again. The show and the outfits are as polarizing as ever, no matter if you are team Emily or if you find the whole show ridiculous.
I was debating whether I should do a video about the fashion of Emily in Paris. I was not entirely convinced as I was not a fan of the looks in the previous seasons. But after watching the first 5 episodes of Season 4 and doing quite some research, I decided to share my thoughts on selected outfits and also look into the vision of costume designer Marylin Fitoussi had who mixes established brands with smaller labels and younger designers. So, we see Balmain, Missoni, Vivienne Westwood alongside Magda Butrym, Christopher Esber, Kevin Germanier and many others.
Let's travel to Paris and look into the outfits in more detail.
00:00 Introduction & Background about Marylin Fitoussi’s Vision for the Characters
03:48 Emily’s Yellow Monochrome Look, Green Jumpsuit with Pink Short Cardigan and La Double J Outfits - Influence of French New Wave and the 1960s/70s

13:22 Emily’s Look with the Antik Batik Cape, Sonia Rykiel Jumper, Sixdo Skirt & Incxnnue Bag - Fitoussi’s Handwriting

I've been watching Emily in Paris, not because I particularly like the series, but for the fahion aspect of the show. I totally agree with you about pant suits, I think they can look very ordinary... I am however delighted, although I should have known, to find another Sylvie fan. Apart from the Missoni outfit which I absolutely loved, I'm not a fan of Emily's fashion at all. I can't help you with the belt but I would love to buy one. Sylvie is the epitomy of how a woman of her age would dress in Paris and I think she looks fabulous! Vive Sylvie! BTW, I love your dress 🥰

I understand now how I got confused in history (a couple years ago) between Aldo and Renato: the hardware stores inspiration had me unravel about all the great materials and tools you can find there, for work, art, inspiration, and everything in between. : ) So I thought (at first) that it was Renato who made the Love Bracelet, and then thought Cartier had graciously received the design first, but it was (actually) T&co and then, an Aldo drawing…. Fiou! What a maze of thoughts: No wonder I got confused… Silly me ; ) Anyways, what I’d like to add is that you resume bits of history quite beautifully; I’m happy SuperDacob referred to you in one of his videos. I’m more than pleased to have finally dropped by your channel, because sometimes Ytubes & the Internets in general are a bit of a whirlpool « drama » for dinosaurs like myself etc. Much appreciation for what you are doing here. 🩶 Have a great day.

@@PinkLookbook Thinking about « Juste un clou » tonight, I’m wondering if he thought: well, at least, with this design, one day the poorest man on Earth [in terms of money I mean, not capabilities] could make a bangle for him or any of his loved ones, out of the only nail he got left on the ground. I was wearing capri pants, white ones because it was summer, After my Father's fitting he wanted to take me to Claridges for afternoon tea and I was refused entry because I was improperly dressed. Yes, some clothes will look similar since it is a wedding and not a fashion show. Don’t confuse between the two. There are certain colours that are more common for certain wedding rituals and the guests also were those similar colours. In Indian wedding, women wear heavy jewellery (traditional jewellery). Not party jewellery. Certain customs are cultural and we love our cultural way. Just as we do not judge your tastes from our perspective, so shouldn’t the west. Otherwise, it asked truthfully, your wedding styles are actually boring for us.

The Ambani family should have spent money on Anant's health care! Send him to a gym! Rest is TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY! Mukesh , the father, could have build homes for the poor or helped the poor in some way with his millions! This marriage won't last. They are attention seekers!

You do not get to decide what's waste of money nor you should try to tell others how they should spend it. Even worse that you curse their marriage. Attention seeker? It's his wedding. Envy is a sin. Go and reflect on yourself.

Who told you they didn’t! All health issues are not curable by gym .. for example obesity in western world. So don’t comment without knowing. Even with health issues Anant Ambani is more successful and kinder than ppl like u 😂

@thehawkseye3412 MY REFLECTION IS HE SHOULD HAVE HELPED ALL THOSE EXTREMELY POOR, POOR INDIANS IN SOME WAY INSTEAD OF PAYING MILLIONS TO WEST ERN CELEBRITIES TO PERFORM ON THE WEDDING. JUST IMAGINE THE BLESSINGS HE WOULD HAVE RECEIVED FROM ALL THE POOR PEOPLE IN THEIR PRAYERS FOR HIM! HE COULD HAVE IMPROVED THEIR LIVING CONDITIONS BY BUILDING HOMES WHERE THE SHANTY TOWNS ARE WITH THE 600 MILL OR BILL HE SPENT! MONEY IS YOUR PEOPLE'S GOD NOT MINE!

@oindrilaju IF THIS GUY WAS KINDER THAN ME, HE SHOULD HAVE HELPED THE POOR OF INDIA WITH MONEY THAT HE WASTED ON PAYING THE WESTERN CELEBRITIES TO PERFORM ON THE WEDDING! THAT'S WHAT I WOULD HAVE DONE!

@ndean3296 Why are you screaming? Money spent was earned by others. Cultural events are good to have. This is also PR and catering to multiple business partners and network. Poverty doesn't get solved by some free money. Learn to work for your money instead of expecting handouts and free money.
