  • The Huntsville & Lake of Bays Railway also known as the Portage Flyer is located in Huntsville, Ontario. The locomotives and cars were originally used to provide a link between steamships on Lake of Bays and Peninsula lake. Today the railway has been moved to the south end of Fairy lake and is a major feature at the Muskoka Heritage Place, an historic village and museum.

Awfully clean stack! What is she burning? Propane? If so, where are the tanks hidden?

Oil. The fuel tank is under the fireman's seat. They have a second steam locomotive that is even smaller than this which is a coal burner, but it hasn't run since the early 80's when the equipment was based in St. Thomas, Ontario.
