Well let me tell you ,that is not 0-100 if you change the gears at 4k rpm , push it to 6k mate, I have the same engine and mine goes 0-100 în 10-11 seconds 👌

BUD - newest technology, lower chance to get oil consumption, there is no EGR, etc..
This engine is considered average in terms of reliability and, moreover, it is quite noisy.
The main causes of floating engine speeds are throttle or EGR contamination.
Due to poor design, the oil receiver is often clogged, which is dangerous for the engine.
Timing belts have a low resource, and the valves bend when at least one of them breaks.
Also, the network complains about oil leaks and quick failure of ignition coils.

My new 5 1.4 80 hp same 190kmh max but slight down hill, 180 flat constant speed. Great car great engine, but 190 already in red line
me too golf 5 1.4 16v 2008 best speed 190 and yes in red line, and the sound of the engine was not nice at all hh but in city it goes well.. :)
During a trial on highway, mine (2009 mk5) went a bit over 200kmh on straight road and hit almost to 220kmh downhills (there might be a speed limitor, although it was downhills the car did not go over 219kmh). 1.4 tsi 122ps. And there was too much noise inside the car.
I crushed the car verry bad.... 2500 euro repair.... fallen brother :(
