- Today we get on of our most iconic builds out from the rust!!! The supercharged 670cc buggy was the biggest and baddest buggies I ever built. It unfortunately has set awaiting this day for many years. We pull it into the shop and get to work revamping it. We cleanout the fuel system, change the oil, and do a little tunning on the cvt pulley. With this beast awake from its slumber!?!?! Watch till the end to find out!!!

Being disabled and not being able to build things any more. I could only dream of having such an amazing machine! So to know that you would just leave that alone. To just rot! Just gets me! I know you have a lot of awesome machines. So ro you it's nothing. But to a guy like me that will only be able to drem of having something like that. I think I have watched every episode as they have been released and have loved every one of them. Definitely glad to see you bring back this beast. Seeing it run through the trails originally with that incredible sound just couldn't have been better. I also miss the episodes of your old place and the launching you guys would do while ending up plowing into the trees. You have come a long way and it has been great watching! May God continue to Bless you and your family and us with your talents!

Whilst it was all apart I'm surprised you didn't 4 wheel drive it now that would make it into the most awesome buggy build you'd ever done although it's taken 5 years to get it this far be another 5 years to actually fit a 4x4 system on it lol.
Here is something weird. I'm an old man. I have no desire to do crazy racing or offroading or anything dangerous. But this cart... this thing is calling me. I wish I could afford to buy that from ya. I would get the frame powder coated, then put on some protective plates like to keep dirt out etc, and just enjoy it, safely. I wonder if I could get it street legal here in GA. I would do something crazy like get it all blinged out and take it to car shows lol. Especially if I could put your merch on/in it to highlight the builder. you.

Glad you finally are doing something with that buggy. We would like to see some ride videos with it and the Siema buggy. Maybe some head to head performance tests and races. Also happy you are going to take better care of your builds, it kills me to see them sitting out in the rain like that. They really are works of art.

There's EFI kits online for small engines. That would take this build to the next level.
If you need to clean a CVT pully like that use 400 grit emery paper and polish from center to edge , I worked in a diecast factory in the machine shop and we made them for Commet, Easygo and Polaris and all three the dies were polished that way and if the castings needed touched up that is how it had to be done also.
Still sounds as sweet as the day it was completed

Great video! Learning a lot. That engine sounds wicked with that exhaust. I'd love to see an aftermarket cylinder head with an intake port better suited for motorcycles, specifically with the intakes pointed inward like Harley or Ducati, and others. The 670 would be great for a cafe racer, dirt bike, etc. without an intake manifold & carb getting in your way.

As a SUBSCRIBER that watches most if not all of the videos, this one feels like some of the older ones, just kinda special. Like we may be back to the days of making fun and exciting builds and not just doing what’s comfortable. I’m ready to see the channel blow up, get more money and do bigger and better projects. I feel loyal to RBG and when I see channels doing drift carts and things non-typical that interest me I wish it was here, this episode feels like we may be getting back to pushing the bounds of whats possible in so many ways. Update the website with Lonnie being a full time and his baby being born! Go bless you guys and Mrs. Red Beard, I hope to see y’all making bigger moves. Also, waiting to see how we can beef up the fuel injected golf carts at home without buying kits from Vegas Carts. I have a 2015 Yamaha G29. Not saying fix that one up in particular but that may be something to explore! A side note… I want to thank you RB for creating this channel it has allowed me with your in depth how to videos to completely build my sons mini bike. We have completely rebuilt that motor and done everything other than stroke it, but that’s coming… Its possible with the knowledge you put out in the world, I’m thankful because in this day and age kids need something besides video games and computers, this hobby has allowed our relationship to grow and my oldest. We will be starting with the youngest now. Its just been a blessing to have found this channel and the drive its given my family to build awesome projects together. THANK YOU
That is crazy. I decided to swap my joyner buggy with a 670 when you built yours. I tore mine down a few weeks ago to give it a refresh. I excited to see it finished.

Maybe try a 400ex filter. Those have gotta be 4 inch wide openings if not super close, can get a uni filter or K&n style and they’re super easy to come by

Whenever I’d rebuild carbs for dirt bikes I’d tear it all the way down and boil everything in white vinegar for 10-15 minutes and that usually did great, there was a time or 2 the floats would get some vinegar in them and while cooling down they would collapse
I remember the episode when you got those it was called dirty dogs performance
Usually your rebuilding an engine but at this point I am for my homemade drift trike

Have you compared the Amsoil 4T against the Dominator? I've been impressed with it so far in all my splash lubed engines.

Sometimes i feel like life expectancy hasn't went up, its just that the days and years got shorters. 24 hours just doesn't feel the same anymore.
What supercharger is that? was a carb before blower the best way to do this vs a blow thru carb setup u see on cars? What are pros and cons to sending fuel thru blower vs can a small engine carb even be found that can accept boost for applications like this?
Looks like an AMR300 or AMR500. There aren't any blow through carbs this size as far as I know. A regular carb can be placed inside a box pressurized by the blower and it will function like a blow through carb. The smaller the carb the easier that is but still makes tuning a pain. I believe a blow through has more effective charge cooling since it adds fuel to the hot charge air. Draw through setup can aid with cooling, lubrication, and sealing the blower. A 6-71 blower on a SBC power muscle car is a common draw through blower setup.

Greg I have been watching your chanel from the beginning. please stay away of motor cycle engines and stay with lawn mower type engines. there are a lot more of us wanting lawnmower type engines just try it you will see. the kart with the 450 MC engine would be great for a 670 or a 999 . love your chanel I will always be watching. thank you and God bless!
Obvious thing would be to build another big shed/garage or do you have to pay extra taxes on property where you are 🤔
I enjoy your videos but I have noticed a trend of you not taking care of your builds equipment etc. left outside, looks like a junkyard. Have some pride in your stuff cover it up with some cheap tarps. Clean up your area stuff laying everywhere. All that work just to sit and rust.
I don't enjoy my stuff sitting out in the weather. We've tarped things so many times. They just blow off.
Funny how everything I put amzoil in blew up or broke then the oil analysis came back as junk oil
