Sotheby's sold a Benin bronze figure for over $2 million. Every single piece is so exquisitely chosen, it rivals the Arfican art collections of any major museum of the world. He deserves his own museum, and I need a book so I can see all of these. This is a very OMG video.

He's actually opening a museum with another black gentleman in NY I believe. That sounds like its for the best to have this history presented by people who have African Ancestry and a connection to this art.

Because sending them to a museum allows the museum to have control of the narative. He wants to tell the story correctly and in the words of Africans.
