I believe everyone should buy art that is about them. While I understand there's the business side to art, we as humans grow and change through our lives and art can serve as a personal growth marker to either remind us of where we have been or where we want to go. Regardless of the price or status of the artist if you resonate with it then it's the art for you. Use the walls you look at everyday to better yourself and be a daily reminder of your mental selfcare.

It's a real shame that there's no links or even just a list of the artists whose work is shown. I've tried googling what I think she's saying when she names an artist, but haven't had any luck. Even her foundation that's supposed to benefit artists, has no information about any contemporary artists they support. Seems a bit self-aggrandizing.

She has a beautiful collection, but I’m very disappointed in the lack of women artist. There are plenty beautiful art works by African women, so I wonder why she has barely invested?
