PAUL
IS THERE AWAY THAT I CAN PUT MY 3.4L V6 TWIN TURBO ENGINE FROM MY SUV IS A FWD. WANT TO PUT THAT INTO MY REAR WHEEL DRIVE 1987 FIREBIRD THE ENGINE IS A V6. THANKS👍
I WILL HAVE TO CHANGE THE DOME ON THE 3.4L AS IT IS FUEL INJECTED AND THE V6 IN THE FIREBIRD HAS A CARBURETOR
Keep the suv and go junkyarding for a 2500 gm truck and pull the 6.0 LS and the 4L80 trans along with computer and bs and swap it all into the firbird
Dang! Paul can move very fast when the need arises... o~0
I don’t know about Utah, but discharging your drain water directly into a stream is illegal in most places. 😮
So glad to come by and see you guys. I really don't know how you get any work done with your subscribers in your shop all the time. While we visited two other sets of fans came by....crazy for a small town. It shows how much people from around the country appreciate good people and good families.
You just got yourself a new subscriber sir, I'd love to see some videos of that westy in your profile picture too. I'm a huge vw guy aswell.
Unfortunately, we made the mistake of stopping by on a Saturday afternoon - cause that was when we were in town. Saw that the march store was closed and didn't want too bother Paul in the shop, so we left and will stop back by then next time that we are in the area. But, we did see Paul and stopped at Archies for lunch.

Grandma Lolly taking another weekend off? Paul will take care of it.
@@michaelalbert8474grandma doesn’t work weekends, the shop is closed
Paul is there any piece of equipment you can not run? You do some nice work and you couldn't ask for a better crew to work with what y'all do on this channel is definitely cool great bunch of folks doing some pretty awesome stuff love the channel and the family togetherness 👍👍
One thing Paul teaches us, things will happen, you just have to overcome the challenges and keep on smiling
Things happen.. You just have to fork out another $10k this week.. just like last week and the week before.
"You can worry a thing to Death"
Merlin Johnson
Is that what he teaches or how to disrespect n shame his mother??? 17:59
@@originalghoul3738It’s OK, his mother shames and disrespects him as well. 😊
@@originalghoul3738that’s not disrespect that’s called sarcasm and we both speak it fluently, 😂
I was expecting to see the Rat Shack starting to go up onto the rollback and Grandma Lolly come running out the door of the shack, yelling, "WAIT!!!, I was still in here"!!! lol
You will want to put a screen on the open end of that green drain pipe. Keep critters out.
Oh they'll get in anyway.. :)
Making progress
Grandma 👵is a Awesome 👌Grandma who loves to help out
Have a Great Day 👍
God Bless America 🇺🇸🙏🇺🇸
Good morning everybody and thumbs UP to Fab Rats! 👍
why does this "hello" keep disappearing?
@@JanelleVocate-Ames CZcams is wonky and very greedy. LOL Good morning!
WONKY is right, you're too polite-I would use a little stronger words!@@richardthomas1743
@@JanelleVocate-Ames I agree !! 🤣
Y'all have the best jobs in the world. You get to the shop and say, "What am I going to do today?" Paul says, "You never know!" Then he says "We're laying pipe today!!" and you say, "OK, sounds good!!" You never know what you will do at the Fab Rats shop. Great job moving the Rat Shack!!
"Ya ain't digging if you ain't hitting something."
Truer words were never spoken.
Every single digsafe detection engineer felt a change in the force when Paul said that lol 🤣🤣🤣
There should be a spot on the skids of the rat shack where there’s a hole drilled for some metal bars to run through to pull the shed. I built portable shed packages for 20 years
Grandma is awesome!! “I don’t take back everything I said” 😂🤣
Lots of work getting done. Grandma Lolly is a character...
I have been loving your channel for the past few years. Please don’t ever change the production of the videos, it is perfect. Michelle, the style, tempo and authenticity you capture with each episode is truly perfect and not like a variety show. Keep up the good work and thanks Fab Rats!
Great progress. Poor Grandma looked like she was gonna be sick. Good job on the move. Drains look great.
I'm so glad that Landon latched the hood back down on his side, because Hunter forgot to and that could've ended bad, lol @7:21
Friday with Fab Rats!
The banter between everyone is what makes every video so entertaining to watch. I'm always laughing at something. It's just like being a spectator there watching an every day interaction take place between everyone.
Grandma Lolly's famous words, "I don't take back what I said." Raising her boys and knowing the delemma of their actions at times could make for a difficult choice! All the shannagan's between them and Grandpa Sherm, I'm sure, gave her premature gray hair! The worries and excitement were always there, and as you can see, they still are! Make no mistake, she loves her family and the excitement that comes with it! Til next time, take care, and we'll see you on the next. 😊
I met Grandma Lolly when I visited in May this year, and might I say she is one sharp lady! I'd listen to her more boys...
Love ya Grandma!
Thanks for sharing folks!
Other than pipe going in backward...good job I guess. Note to self.. bell is always up hill. 😂😅
👌
I wondered if anyone would notice.
I like all the different repairs and projects you and your crew show us. I always learn something new with your vids. Keep it coming!
Great way to end my grave shift with a fab rats video
👍
Just think
Some day
The shop
And everything
Around it will be
Done, maybe ?
Thx Paul !!
I have a heavy equipment dirt moving company and I truck I started doing years ago for drain pipe is over dig it, throw the pipe in and then sprinkle dirt in and have your ditch hands run the level as you go. Works good, good work boys
You’ve got to come out with a shirt that says “it will be fine“ 😂
The blue Jackson shovels with the serrated blade are the greatest
Saw the head gasket sealer going in the Jeep. We have a saying in our shop, "Nothing is as permanent as a temporary fix." Love the channel!
You have a 4 bay shop and Hunter has to work in the dirt 😂
Great Job Guys!
Grandma is so awesome! She's the best!
So this video explains A LOT. We were at your place two weeks ago Monday, (sorry we didn’t get to see any of the crew) Your mom said something about how you had dug up the fiber line. Lol. She kinda went off a little bit about how she warned y’all …. And…. Paul told her how familiar he was with where the fiber line was located. Since HE WAS THE ONE WHO BURIED it. Lol. It was so funny.
Now the video surfaced a couple of weeks later. Thanks for the wholesome and entertaining content! We sure enjoyed our trip to Utah to see the eclipse. Including ROAM Adventures. Thanks for that pro vacation tip!
Eating Beaver Nuggets and watching Fab Rats....what could be better?
Love the trust Grandma Lolly had in all. LOL. Great video
Good video the Fab rats team brought a lot of things together today, Hunter's Jeep, Grandma Lolly's Shed moved onto the concrete, dug the trench for the drain, etc. Good job!
Make sure you have all the right permissions and such to have a drain go in to the creek or the internet EPA warriors will have a cow on you. Looks good can’t wait to see the shop finished.
You guys are my favorite on CZcams. So much fun to watch. Paul and Hunter are hilarious and so are the rest of you. Love it
Did anyone foresee the internet getting cut in this adventure? Yea, me neither. 😉
JULIE
Total respect to the FabRats team, running a business, expanding the shop, and of course ... keeping Hunter's vehicles running. That's a full plate and very entertaining. Keep up the good work!
Really do enjoy having the group together, please do include Sean in more videos
If Grandma Lolly is happy, I'm happy.
Great to see the mentorship going on. That is a lost art. To have someone pass down there knowledge. Only people that get that type of treatment understand how great it is.
Slap some blue devil in it Hunter , make sure it the cooling system one , i just used some of the oil sealer variant & it worked pretty good , not a permanent fix but will keep er going
Hello from Far North Queensland Australia at 11pm Friday night. Love everything you do and you are my inspiration for all my projects
Love watching the improvements around the shop ! Thanks for sharing !
I love the Campbell's soup can sound when the rock sliders hit the ground.
We could start a drinking game every time Paul says it will be fine just like the Bob Newhart show!
Was thinking about head gaskets when I got in the rental last Saturday, started it up, and it farted and threw a check engine light immediately. Thought about head gaskets a lot over the week as it smelled like oil at the front and coolant at the back.
The best pour in head gasket sealer is Bears Tru Blu 2years in the old C-20s 350 and no problems and I haven't been nice to the old girl. I drive her like I did when I was in highschool, l like the sound she makes when that controlled fuel leak known as a Holley street dominator secondarys open up when she kicks down. And starts winding up,
Gramma is the best we love you all God bless the Fab Rats!!✌️🇺🇲
The v6 has a thermostat failure and usually have to replace the thermostat and housing. The other common failure is the oiler cooler unit.
Paul, you need a better cable for your internet. I would put an inch water line in so it's protected I have been a telephone man for 44 years and still going. Make sure you do it before you pour. Great work guys.
Next time you want to move the Rat Shack: 2x4s on the rollback, covered in dish soap. It's slippery and allows it to slide over the wood.
Man it's great to see that shack getting moved ,It looked horrible out front.
Love seeing #FabRats Progression...I've been waiting to see some of the shop build...Love seeing it Paul!! Looks great!
Thanks for making.
Even before the 4 minute mark, the editors added so much to the episode with great relative flash backs, like Hunters face at 3:27
Actually, Paul was pretty mellow on the moving of the Rat Shack. I thought there would be some serious damage but no... ;-)
Great vid!! I am just in love with Hunter's giggle and his wit!!
Hunter is such comic relief: "the camera gave me a blister already!"
LOL
Hunter is pretty darn funny...he comes up with some pretty good comments and hilarious questions for Paul and Sean and he delivers them in a fairly deadpan, low-key way most of the time, which makes them even funnier.
27:41 Yaayyyy!!!! :) great job guys!!!
A bottle of fix it is always worth a shot. I'm going to add some lucas to an Impala that has a rod chatter on start up. I have used all their products before and with good luck. I hope I have better luck than Paul did with Hunter's jeep. The shop is looking better every week. I don't care how big you build them it's never big enough.
When putting in cables or pipes, if you put a layer of gravel over it before covering with dirt you will hit the gravel before the pipe or cable and know you have something below . Good luck and the workshop is looking great, 👍
Hunters' boiler needs a lot of work. But the yard needs some cleaning done for new concrete slab! The drainage is a great idea. No standing water causing problems!
Paul, moving the rat shack looked way more professional than Rory moving any of his buildings 😂
The chairs didn't even move! Nice job. Of course it's Grandma's building! What would you do without her in that building every day?
great vid, love seeing the progress on the new shop
One thing you should check is the frost depth during the winter, for example, montana State is ~ 40", Washington / Oregon is like 10" If not buried under frost depth it will freeze and plug it up, or breaking pipe.
Hunter, ‘we don’t have 4WD… yup, that’s all she’s got… we’ll have to fix that’
I know I’ve heard those same words before. Hunter has become a full fledged member of the Fab Rats crew!
Thanks Guys
For a stock jeep it did pretty good on the trail
Paul, as a suggestion.. mark on the wall where your power, water, internet etc lines come from the front of the property.. just a coloured marker or spray paint can mark either on the outside or inside wall of the sheds, that way you will always know what direction and where the cables and pipes are and go...
I did this years ago at my place and it is quick and easy to know when I need to dig more trenches or holes.. etc..
Your workshop is coming along nicely.. keep up the great videos and work you are doing... I love your videos and what you do... Hi from Melbourne Australia Tim.
Or maybe a mark in the fresh concrete.
Next time you need to move the shack, lift it up and put some pieces of pipe underneath or that DOM for cages and pull it with the digger and just throw the pipes in-front of it once one rolls out the rear!
Moving the Rat Shack went without a hitch. Nice job boys! Grandma Lolly with her " i don't take anything i said back" Classic! Man, those chicken burritos looked great. Would love to eat a lot of her cooking! Well done,! 🤠🧑🦰🌲🌲 🎼
Thanks for sharing 😀👍
I’ll be interested to see the dry garage floor next time it rains hard!
Man Paul’s property is really cool! I’d build a fire pit down by the creek!
Does Hunter need an LS ? Or you wanting continuous video content? 😂😂😂, Hunter is a good man
Those jeeps are guttless turds, coudnt barely make it up that hill, definately needs an LS.
It's good to see more progress happening with the buildings that house all of the make-it, build-it, fix-it antics...I mean the activities...of the Fab Rats crew, family and friends. The "Cox Compound" is going to be impressively set up to get multiple things worked on at the same time here shortly. 👍💪😎
It will be great to have done full repair of the jeep some like new with paint all... instead of small fixes...
Good stuff well done guy's thank you for sharing
Great video! Thank you for sharing! 👌
It’s all coming along nicely
Very nice job guys. Can't wait to see more updates an projects and many more videos soon my friends. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friends. Fab On. Weld On. Keep making God bless.
New shop is looking really good. Stay Safe!
Maybe old news, but I am dropping a note on all my favorite car sites: when finding a locked engine, check that the starter isn't stuck against the flywheel. I have had both automatic and standard fool me into thinking the engine was seized!
L.M.A.O.( Rock sliders ) they sounded like exhaust tubing when Hunter chucked it !😂
Thanks for sharing 🇨🇦
Thank you for another great story and a lot of fun. It'll be fine. Every young person needs to learn about what it means to have a blown head gasket (and keep driving the car) - I've been there!
Thanks for the video guys
Hey, just like you can’t make an axle for the Toyota out of a paper clip. That drain box is not big enough do you look at the driveway and see how much water is coming? You need at least a 12 inch pipe and you need probably 10 inch pick ups Every 20 feet
Enjoying the shop updates!
Only one problem... the pipe is laid backwards... the bells should be on the high side and the spigot end on the lower end to prevent debris from getting caught and plugging up the pipe...
Camera blister says it all about Hunter... Good man.
Pro tip - when laying gravity drains, start laying pipe at the downstream end. If you make a pipe slope mistake, you can always reduce the pipe slope to make grade. If you blow grade when laying from the upstream end, you'll have to dig up a bunch of pipe you just backfilled. You can't dig the creek deeper. Just sayin'...
thought you were going to mention that they laid the bells down stream....usually you lay the bells up stream but that's such a short run it will live. no frost in the ground out there.
Try k-seal on the jeep for the head gasket it only takes 3-5 minutes to work
Grandma is 100% the boss!
Great job guys and Grandma
GR8 VIDEO Paul
If you ever get stuck in a roll back you can lift the rear wheels with the bed and push forward and set the wheels down then pull bed forward and repeat
Thanks again for your time making the video watching from Reno NV
Another Great Video 👍 Great content, keep up the great work!
