1. **Stance**: Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, balanced.
2. **Footwork**: Push off your back foot, pivot on its ball.
3. **Hip Rotation**: Rotate hips and shoulders fully.
4. **Hand Position**: Guard your face with the non-punching hand; punch straight from your chin.
5. **Elbow Alignment**: Keep elbow close to your body.
6. **Recovery**: Extend fully, then quickly return to guard.
7. **Breathing**: Exhale sharply upon impact.
Practice these steps to enhance your cross.
