The Kia Telluride remains a top contender among midsize three-row SUVs at CarGurus, celebrated for its superior aesthetics and performance that rivals luxury vehicles. Despite minimal changes over its five-year span since debuting in 2020, the Telluride continues to impress with subtle refinements to its design and enhancements in amenities and technology. The 2023 model update eliminated the amber DRLs from higher trims, but this year, Kia is reintroducing them across all levels, adding to its distinctive, handsome front end. This styling choice ensures the Telluride will maintain its appealing, classic look for years to come, distinguishing it even as Kia explores more avant-garde designs in other models.

Not having wireless Apple CarPlay in a 50k range vehicle in 2024 is insane
Why is wireless connectivity such a big deal and deal breaker? None of the wireless charging that comes with all these modern vehicles is good anyway. It is very slow, and your phone gets overheated and you end up plugging it into a USB to get a good charge.
@@Brayant25 because it’s my car and I pay the car note and it’s one of the features I WANT! hope this helps 🤘🏾and not 1 time did I say it was a “dealbreaker” I said to not have that feature on a car this price range is insane when cheaper cars have it … and I still stand by it
@@AmericanKendoll but why do you want it? it's objectively worse than wired Apple Carplay.
I have a 2019 Tiguan and purchased one of those device that can enable the wireless Apple car play then I also got the qi2 wireless MagSafe charging, I just need one hand to snap and remove the phone, QOL improvement.
Pfttt… ok settle for less, I’ve had wireless CarPlay with my previous 2 vehicles and I’ve loved it. Just get in and go. I’ve had zero issues as well. Maybe it’s because I have the latest iPhone…? Not sure, but regardless it’s a dealbreaker for me.
Still the best looking SUV after 5 years.
Kia will redesign the Telluride for 2025 from the ground up with more fuel-efficient engines including a hybrid. It should be unveiled in November so buyers looking to buy this vehicle should just exercise a little patience. There will be deals for 2024 when 2025 arrives.
I’m surprised that no one has spy pictures of them all ready . I didn’t know they were doing a redesign ❤
Bruh my dad just leased one last week I never found this type of info anywhere else
Or this is the best time to buy if you don’t want something all new with first/second model year woes. And the V6 has been in production for 20 years dating back to the Sedona minivan, it’s a solid engine.
I have been wanting one of these for so long & I'm about ready to get one soon! I'm so excited!!!
Excellent review, I wish I could afford it
There is no excuse for Kia and Hyundai to not include Wireless Apple CarPlay and AA in models like Kia and some other models at this point. It’s not a technology limitation or a hardware issue. Because their 8” displays support it.
Buy an apple carplay box or wireless android auto kit. Around 150 cad and much more useful.
I can not wait this telluride hybrid model it is coming in 2025
Honda Pilot has a ten speed transmission. Ridgeline and Passport have the ZF nine speed.
This is the vehicle that pays the bills, so they don’t change it like they redesign everything else in their lineup. Why mess with success. If anything needs those square yellow lights for headlights surround 🤣
Still the best suv.
Rip to the grand highlander and TX who failed miserably to compete with the telluride
And as you say that they continue to dominate the sales ladders. Telluride is cool, but the dealer markups on them rubbed me the wrong way.
@@KNRS927 but I’d rather pay markups for a telluride over a tx or grand Highlander because at the eod it’s still better than both of them
@@naveenthemachine You can say that but people like the grand highlander because it’ll go 200k+ miles without breaking a sweat while Kia and Hyundai still are questionable there, even if the telluride is probably the best looking and nicer car inside.
@@KNRS927 right… the second you stick a Toyota logo in anything then all of a sudden its instantly bulletproof and reliable?😱😆
01:55 lost me at “truck”.
Come on princess 👸
I dont care about gas mileage i want reliability and for $54000 i would get a Tahoe with a V8 and a full frame
You know how many of those I have to reapir on a weekly basis? It's insane! Chevy and all GM are junk.
A base 2wd Tahoe w/ cloth seats is still north of $54k. Plus their AFM will inevitably fail, bend a pushrod, and grenade the engine in the 5.3 and 6.2.
@@tsmith76092 my 2018 tahoe 5.3 is still in one piece, maybe changing my oil every 2000 miles is having luck
Mazda CX-90 has this beat in every aspect.
😂😂😂😂😂 Mazda sucks, mine died in 7k miles.
Lol, a Mazda driver 🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂
Mazda might be good but from what other reviewers are commenting seems mechanically overly complicated which might translate to higher than expect maintenance cost. Not against Mazda, I have a 2016 CX5 that works like a tank.
Not in cargo space. The Telluride has the cx90 beat by a long shot.
Another “Selluride”/Pallisade review 😩. Can any car manufacturers make a decent car other than the Korean and Chinese/Japanese brands? American brands have terrible build quality and the Germans are too expensive for what you get and require a lot of maintenance. 🤷🏽♂️
Grand Cherokee and Explorer are good American competitors.
The same reason Americans shop at Walmart. You value cheapness over quality and you can’t do that with American wages so you have to import foreign junk.
Chinese cars are cheaper
Chinese cars are for third world dude.
