This info is so so good. It clears up so much misunderstanding in history. I find the Ancient Alien crowd and their ilk really funny in this case. The refer to pictures of the" BA "as a bird headed man because ancients had the skill of joining a human head with a bird, or lion, or hippo or some other animal or insect. The hieroglyphs at Karnak showing the Fighter Jet, Speed Boat and Helicopter but a little historical knowledge debunks that. Great stuff Malinda !!!

I feel the Ba's most important feature is the ability to maintain the Personality of the person. After all, our Ba is eternal and pure energy yet individual. Once the Ba does pass into the afterlife, it is then it is gifted the traits of Travel, Changing form and being able to Visit the Living. Could it be that Changing form into a Cat allows the the Ba to remain among the living. Cats are very loving creatures and often attach to one person and in so doing help them to get through a lot of trials in this life.

"ba.." this, explains a dream i had.. its a very interesting dream but in it.. all i heard for what i thought was a language was "ba" its all i heard.. no other word was said.. anyways.. the place i was in was like a dance hall and beautiful! that hall i walked down was huge too.. didnt know what "ba" was.. so, today (couple weeks after the dream) randomly decided to look up the word.. im in absolute amazement at what im seeing..

Great video! The pharaohs used a device known as the "cylinders of the pharaoh" made from copper(ka) and zinc(ba) cylinders filled with quartz when held produce up to 1.5 volts. The copper is held in the right hand which is the positive flow of ions and the zinc is held in the left hand which is the negative flow of ions that influence the human bio-field. Make them yourself or get them on amazon or etsy.

Ba, I feel that the ability to change forms into whatever was needed was the most interesting.
Very informative. Many of the things said of the soul's journey (including judgement is metaphysical and symbolic and therefore not to be taken literally). I've read other reports which describe almost 9 parts...including the shadow(sheut)and gross body(Khat)...and the name (ren) and so on...it seems the Ancient Egyptians left nothing out when explaining someone's general "identity" but the Soul itself was simplified to 5 parts....and even those 5 parts had disposable elements such as the ren and so on... kinda reminds me of the Indian 5 Pancha Kosha (5 Sheaths of the Body with the Soul/Atman being the immortal principle)...

Very good information thanks. You also should know that the Ba could travel out of the burial chamber and united with the god, but Ka stay and travel only inside the burial chamber. Also the Ba used to make two trips one in the morning and one in the evening and the Ba come back every night to the mummy and travel again on the morning. In Some scenes we could see the Ba holding the offering to the mummy such ass food drink and so on. Thanks

Ba is the person ba is the soul too. When we die the ba leave the dead body and United with god and the ba keep feel everything in life so the ba of the people that we loves will always visit you but you can’t see it , you only can feel it. That’s why we feel the soul of the dead person traveling around us.

Ba is your soul . has we all have a soul , and since our Soul has two aspect Ka + Ba . The Ka is your objective consciousness the BA subconscious ( Dream world lucid) which changes or is transformed to the AKH upon your (death) . I wonder because of seers or people having astral projecting experiences during Life. Did this lead them to think that after death of the physical body. The soul would continue to travel but it needed the body to come back. Just like it had during like of the body in the physical world. If so this would explain that why they thought the soul took breaks from the body. But also the belief it needed to come back. This is only the case during physical life of the body but it's interesting.

I've read from Algiz Uzdavinys (Hermenuetic Scholar) say roughly that when the Ba unites with Ra(The Radiant Intelligence) (Similar to the greek concept of nous) it is transfigured as the channel owner explained and becomes a shinning spirit....now can dwell with the Gods...the akh is more of a state than an individual entity...

I have some thoughts about it ..., sadly my thoughts wonder of very quick (lol) .., but i´ll try to put it in writing:
The 1 dynasty pharaohs did take (some of)their household helpers with them in the afterlife (i.e. human sacrifice)..
this practice was abandond after 1st dynasty(luckily, and again lol), and my guess is that the shabty´s found in graves (from 2nd dynasty onwards) where put in place kind of prematurely (or like an insurance).., meaning that the pharaoh could call for the ba of one of his subjects .., that ba would then enter the shabty and become alive to help the pharaoh in the afterlife.. So the subject could stay in the real world doing his thing and at the ¨same¨ time (and the afterlife probably being kind of a parralel universe .., hence the many false doors found in pyramids/graves) help the pharaoh in the afterlife...?
