How to Calculate Rafter Lengths on a TI-84

@awesomeframers recently showed us how to calculate rafter lengths on the CMPro. @mrallenmath challenged his students to do the same calculations on a TI-84...and they succeeded!
There are countless ways to do the math & even though this method takes more work, we love seeing the thinking on display.

It’s hillarious that they actually use this stuff… makes me proud. I’m a math major and I tutor a lot of people who struggle with these concepts, so seeing someone actually use them in the wild after all those naysayers in high school said it was pointless is nice.
