Hi Carol, do you know a crystal called Mystic Merlinite AKA Indigo Grabbo?
Neither of those were citrine. You can tell simply by the color and clarity. Quartz rarely displays asterism, and I've never seen it in amethyst/citrine. When it does occur in quartz, it forms only in a 6-rayed star due to inclusions. That sphere had no inclusions and was transparent. Big tell. It would be opaque, not transparent, and cut en cabochon.

Beautiful Haul, The purple flash labradorite star was my favourite. My latest crystals which arrived together were 2 chevron amethyst points and a flower agate star.
