I love crack the coding interview, great book. People throw a lot of shade at coding interviews, I can see why but I must say, the books that come out as a product of coding interviews have made me more efficient and quick on my feet. I will check out Nick's book.

And, yes, the ultimate answer to demonstrating competence in the datasphere is functional polished implementations of whatever it is that you would like to do for a living - which can range from Tableau/PowerBI dashboards all the way up to deployed ML pipelines and beyond. As they say, “seeing is believing” (despite the fact that Adversarial GANs & “deep fakes” are somewhat eroding that age-old maxim 😂).
