  • Part of the criteria that must be met before your English Duolingo is certified is ensuring that all external apps are closed or turned off during the test-taking processes. This video is essentially about that; it presents a step-by-step process of successfully closing down your applications when you're set to take your test.
    In turning off your applications, please notice the default settings and when you're done taking the test, you can set your system back to originality. This ensures your system doesn't misbehave afterward.

      Can someone help me I beg you please help I started my test when the first part started the first part of questions the select the correct word I selected the word and it redirects to blank screen after selecting the word and after few seconds it says the curser moved out of the test window how is this possible when the curser is at the right spot as I selected the word as soon as I select the word it says this please help me

      @@mdmohsin381, apologies for coming to this late.
      If you're using a mouse, you may want to check it's connection. Some of them are very sensitive and could cause the curse to make several clicks or moves without you noticing. Apart that, you may have to take your time when moving the cursor with the active window so you don't slide away.
      You can remain calm and relaxed in the process.

    This video literally helped me. Initially I faced a lot of problems due to these background running processes and apps. While surfing CZcams to find the solution, I found this video and later I gave my test with no issues. Now waiting for results. Thank you!

    Thank you so much brother. I was so worried when my 1st chance of giving the Duolingo test got uncertified because of open background apps ... then saw your video and followed each step carefully except that ctrl+alt+del because I feared my laptop would get locked. But doing the initial two three steps suggested in the video solved my problem and I scored 130 . Thank you so much 😊

    Hii, In task manager some applications are not stopped ‘ access is denied’ or ‘ other running services are dependent on it’ kind of notifications popped up. How can I stop them. I have to give my DET. exam. Also when i open details 90s of apps are running again and again. Please guide me 🙏🏻

    • @akurugjose
      @akurugjose  Před 7 měsíci

      Hello! sorry that you're facing these challenges. In fact, for some of the processes in the task manager, one may not have control over them, and usually, those processes will hardly interrupt your Duolingo test-taking process. That same argument can be made about the apps you talked about. So, don't get too worried about that, just simply close all the processes and apps that you're allowed to.
      After that, refresh your PC or computer before you start to take the test. This process should help, I guess.
