    A little hint, to avoid rounding up the screws holding the fred-connector-board: do NOT apply as little pressure as possible, but the opposite. Apply as much pressure as you can without breaking the board itself because rounding screws happens when the screwdriver flips over the screw-slit which only can happen, when the screwdriver isn't pushed in enough.
    Otherwise, great video = )

    • @Bambuzzsprosse
      @Bambuzzsprosse Před rokem +2

      @@VintageGameZ If it's completely round you can use a plastic-pen and melt the plastic with for example a lighter. Press the hot plastic into the screw and let it cool off. Take another pen, melt a bit more and apply it as well to create more stability. If you're lucky you can turn the screw without the plastic breaking.
      If the screw is not completely round but still has some rounded-off notches simply use a bigger screwdriver.

    I watched this on my Xbox so I want you to know and appreciate that commenting was a bit more of a chore than usual.
    However, I was watching this video and as I got to the end after being enthralled by the contents of the neck I was slightly disappointed that you didn’t cover the body; I was excited to see that part.
    I was tempted to move onto another video when something in my brain told me to watch your outro. It was here that you mentioned part 2 being out already if the video was more than a couple days old. I looked, saw the video was posted 4 months ago and instantly I was excited again because I knew it’d cover the body.
    I just wanted to thank you for putting that little extra bit into the video. I might not have seen pt 2 if it wasn’t in there. I’ve got it paused as I type this, I’m about to give it a watch as soon as I press enter.

    a couple of tips that i have found really help! if you open up your guitar a lot buy a pack of lil 1cm cross head screws, this means you only need one screwdriver to do the whole thing and if one screw breaks you can just replace it. this one is for world tour/gh5 guitars only, take out the things on the head of the guitar and keep the screws around so if one of the screws holding the board on breaks you can just replace it (the screws work with les pauls and tour guitars i know that idk about the other guitars). Hope these help a bit :)

    You can boil the dome switches to soften them rather than cutting them. I would also highly recommend using a ruler and sharpy to mark and measure your pokes/cuts instead of just free handing it. You will get a more consistent result. Probably would want to use a razor or xacto knife for the cutting too.

    GEORGE, a lot of the GH controllers I buy have extremely stiff frets when I push them down, like from the green to orange fret, it gets progressively stiffer and CREAKY, like the plastic is rubbing against the frets themselves causing friction and stiffness. I’ve tried at least 3 different GH3 necks and a lot of have the same issue, I’ve even tried carving some of the black neck plastic in between the frets but it doesn’t seem to solve it. I’ve been wanting to get back into GH trough CH and the Wii USB adapter but this has been my bane for so long.
    Problem might be too specific but I figured you might have experienced it at some point or another, what do you think? Stank you smelly much 🤙🏼

    The midi version of Enter Sandman reminds me of the SNES version of Maximum Carnage. Huge nostalgia bomb

    Do you think it would be too hard to put a GH Guitar transmissor into a Rock Band Stratocaster Guitar?
    Because I found them to be nicer, yet they don't work for some of my favorite gh games, which are gh 3, 2 and 1...
    Do you think it's easily doable?
