Navarrete is a serious talent. I know people keep saying he is hittable. Vaquero does not get enough credit for his unusual style of boxing. The angles that he throws his punches and his punches' tempo and power are something else to withhold. In my opinion, it is like seeing a dancer perform his choreography. Navarrete seemingly maintains the pressure and cuts off the ring effortlessly. Top Rank continues to dominate the boxing landscape with their stable of boxers full of talent. I don't see a single fighter that can give the Vaquero a problem at this weight division at the moment. In the future, Shakur Stevenson will be a champion for sure. Everyone wants Warrington because of the obvious reasons that he is not at the elite fighters' level at featherweight here in the United States. There are plenty of boxers here that will take away Warrington's lunch and eat it. Navarrete knows he is levels above Warrington. The fact that he wants to fight him shows his confidence.
He doesn’t get enough credit cuz most people are simpletons. Navarrete changes stances, and has a sixth sense for timing his opponent with punches from unorthodox angles. He’s the best current Mexican fighters imo

True. Not every fighter has that classic style. Many fighters have an awkward style. Look at Maidana for example, and there are several Mexican fighters who also have this different style which Tim called "ugly". I've been following Navarette since I saw his fight with Dogboe. He has an old school boxing style and the issue with this guy is he has alot of gas in the tank. Not the type of guy you can outbox on the back foot for 12 rounds. He is also one of the only boxers who throws the lead uppercut. He throws it during combos or just by itself, you dont see those ones coming.

Strictly an old school warrior. This is one of the very few fighters today that are always active. If they'd let this kid, he would be fighting every 2 weeks.
