- Next in our Telekom Electronic Beats TV One To Watch series is producer, DJ and Atmophile Electronics label owner Naty Seres.
Deeply grounded in modular synthesis, she creates dark and hypnotic electro and techno soundscapes. As a DJ you can hear Naty at Berlin’s world renowned Berghain club and in other venues all over Europe, where she regularly enchants crowds with her driving, groovy and trippy sounding DJ sets.

The one thing that stands out for me, is comfort. She's made sure the environment she's working in, is comfortable. It's an odd thing to say, but if you're in a disenchanting space, you'll struggle to finish your work.
Playing in clubs is one vibe, but making music is mostly a solo experience for many electronic musicians & producers; comfort is paramount when you're in there for hours on end.

Very nice. Another cool artist I never heard of before. Music was dope! I wholeheartedly agree with her of going with "feeling" when making & DJing music. Counting & formulaic ways of music is helpful, but it won't be the same in creating special moments, in my opinion.

Great vid. Danke Naty. I love hearing others describe their workflow when it's similar to mine! Gives me hope haha. I like how she describes it's OK to jam on a loop for a long time if it's working, and just be sure to know when it's time to get a track finished. Also loving her studio layout. Not too much, not too little....and those lovely Focal Twins ahhhh.
Let's get something straight, she obviously knows her gear. She's a label owner and DJ and all that analog gear is not inherently relevant to what she's doing. She can still do what she does without any of that awesome analog gear. Once you're infected with the analog and realize all other dud stuff is an emulation of the real thing, there's no turning back. She enjoys it. It's similar to enjoying a 19-year-old single malt. You're not drinking to get drunk. It's almost ritualistic in its nature. You do it for doing it and for yourself. Not for earning money or for somebody else. She proudly displays her choice of gear and they are awesome. She's very fortunate to be able to enjoy those gear and the things she does with them. Not because she can afford them but because she has and can enjoy her passion.

Really enjoyed this!! Beautiful studio, music sounds rich and banging. Shame about the rife jealousy in the comments, people need to chill out and just go make some music 🤷♂️ It’s not a competition, it’s a passion, some people like VST’s, some people like simple hardware and some people love diving into modular. Buying modular supports small boutique companies too, she’s putting back into the industry instead of ripping cracked plugins...

It's a shame these videos always seem to generate comments from so many haters and trolls.
Is this music my exact cup of tea? No, but in the context of a club, I can see it working out quite well. As for her set up, seems perfect for the kind of stuff she's doing to me.
At the end of the day, everyone needs to just do the best they can with the stuff they have and enjoy the journey and experience along the way.
Luckily just a very few, overall it‘s a very positive and nice community here.
Why is it that everyone who does not agree with you is a troll or a hater? Do you have aspirations of being a dictator of clones? Is it a positive comment section or a comment section?
I hear this all the time. Any comment the least bit critical/honest and the poster is deemed a hater. This hardly seems like a fair,logical or interesting proposition.Maybe we should just change the name to "the positive affirmation section".The CZcams channel owners delete the negative comments anyways which to me seems like a seriously flawed system to begin with. Maybe that is why you are so trained to see mostly positive comments.And I will save you the burden of having to ask me "is everything ok at home?" because everything is. That is the other reply I see over and over when someone disagrees with a comment.
For the record, I like the video and the music ,but also believe others point of views and opinions are as valid as mine and never want to censor them or label them stereotypically in a generic fashion.Your turn. This is your cue to tell me "I bet you are a lot of fun at parties".

Ich frage mich wie man ernsthaft davon als Musik reden kann. Mit nicht mal dem halben Equiqment hat Jarre fast seine Qxygene damals erstellt. Und bei diesem Analog/Modular und Sequencer Gear kommt nicht mehr wie diese fürcherliche Beat Gerumpel raus, das sich anhört wie ein billiges Beat Sample Pack in der Freeware Ecke?
Für dich fürchterlich, für andere ein Vergnügen auf einem dunklen Technofloor.

yes, her deep knowledge in synthesis couldn't figure out how to use the analog 4 but a modular system piece of cake 👌

About the audio routing, I don't get it: there is no direct out on stereo channel. How do you route your reverbs then ? thx
I route the stereo channels to the Groups so one stereo channel goes on Group 1/2 the other one on 3/4 and from there i take the direct outs into my soundcard. Unfortunately there are only two stereo groups available on the Midas 320, so that in the way i have set up the routing two stereo channels always remain unused.

@@daftdj123 Never owned a 160 but I think its the same, on all your channels you have where the fader is 3 buttons "1/2 "3/4" and "master" there you route your channel to the stereo groups.
@@natyseres6036 i'm super interested in your audio routing: when you're using your buses for the stereo-fx's, you don't make any sub-mixes on the midas, right? is it like every instrument is hooked up on the midas and then you decide - while jamming - which one of the channels goes into your converter/soundcard? how many channels do you have on your converter?
