Cool studio, and a nice guy
One of my favourites Techno artists and a really nice guy. Great to see how his process evolves.
Great studio.. bless him tho, he seems super intense and a tad uptight about it all. Relax I say and enjoy
Cheers Florian, super humble and great producer here.

Sir Florian
So glad to see a new tech talk
Mackie 8-bus is the king of techno desks. It’s probably had more people recording techno through them over the years than any other desk.
Big for late nineties drum and bass too.
The Mackie 1604 is the most used mixer in the techno and drum and bass scene! And that's still the case today.
Greetings from Germany
Great words of wisdom. Looks a lot like my setup.
Those Eve subs are nice, love mine.
A good Artist of Germany...grazy sound!! like it!!!

Said Nothing about R2R tape machine REVOX b-77 !
dude looks like he never sleeps lol
Not uncommon among producers.
Lots of Behringer I see there :) almost all bigger producers I watch have the original 909 he the behringer 909, hm it is 300€ vs 3000€
In the end no one will ever hear the difference, so ...
@@franjojukic6901 yes probably, found it just interesting to see
Behringer! How scandalous!
Yes there are really people who think that. It’s good that Florian remarks this that it’s all about the sound and what you can do with it. And a TR-909 is for collectors these days. It’s a pity.
he also has a basement full of dead animals...haha joking.
All that for squeaks n beeps? Emperor's new clothes, anyone...
Free your mind and your ass will follow
And somehow, still making some of the most boring electronic music imaginable
That is VERY subjective and narrow minded.
To each his own, but using a Behringer clone really is a questionable move imo.
Behringer clones is like the equivalent of covering & selling a popular song without the original artist’s permission, and then doing this in a massive, global operative scale. Even if it sounds alright, by paying and owning these products, you are supporting this business model directly.
I’m not saying everyone should own a real 909 if you want a 909 sound. I’m saying you should think twice before buying Behringer clones. In fact, I can think of many other options to achieve the 909 sound, like buying Roland’s own recent 909 modeled products, supporting small companies making 909 based machines like, tip top, jomox, mfb, etc, or just using samples.
I really don’t want no more mega corporations collecting all the money using questionable predatory practices.
Roland had decades to make another analog drum machine or indeed an analog synth. Behringer stepped in to fill the enormous gap in the market and they did it cheap enough that a new generation can use the same tools, the same thing happened with Technics, Roland should have been paying attention.
I bought a TR8s, it's good but not great. If the TD-9 had existed at the time I would have preferred that no question about it.
Thanks to Behringer I saved thousands on impossible to get gear. From them I have a TD-3 (303 $4500), TD-3-MO (303 DevilFish $6000), MS-101 (SH-101 $2500) all for around $1000. If Roland released anything like their old gear I would buy it in a heart beat, but it's only been digital recreations.
@@nicholasroos3627 that’s one way to look at it, I guess.
But I see Behringer clones as the equivalent to what H&M is for clothing, McDonalds is for cuisine, IKEA is for furniture, etc. Consumer choice is free of course, but a professional of a certain field embracing such products should be something to be questioned and not overlooked. if not, then I think it negatively impacts the sustainability of that given field.
let's pretend to be offended over something ridiculous
Shure synth karen 🤣🤣🤣...
I’m strongly against behringer cloning anything that’s being made today. But like another commenter mentioned, Roland has had many opportunities to remake their classics or even a new analog synth and instead has dedicated all their time to making digital crap (respectfully). New roland stuff is good but certainly not great. And it doesn’t have anywhere close to their old analog sound.
The music doesn't really have much of what I'd class as music it's just alot of repetitive and odd sounds not really music, there is no melody.
Look up Ostinato
Get out of here with that comment
Well, you have techno. And melodic techno.
no one cares about your "definition" of music lol
Melody and non-repetitiveness are not necesary for something to be considered music. We are not in the 19th century.
