ADAM Audio was founded in March 1999 in Berlin. Since then the company has been developing, manufacturing and distributing loudspeakers in the field of Professional Audio.
The development of the X-ART (eXtended Accelerating Ribbon Technology) tweeter based on the 1960’s invention of the Air Motion Transformer by Oskar Heil was largely responsible for the company’s founding. Producing sound not with a piston-like diaphragm as is done in most of the loudspeakers that are on the market, but using a pleated diaphragm that is capable of moving the air 4 times faster than the folds themselves are moving was the appealing idea behind it all. The achieved results were intriguing and gave ample reason for moving forward.

She is just wonderful
I like so much how she explain her patching thoughts, could Listen for Hours. And Plaits is Sitting There, Yeah.
“This is what I want. This is what I need. Why is it so expensive?” Same 🙋🏻♂️
I just love jako's setup, while it seems super robust and I'm sure can get as complicated as one would like! But it's just so clean and minimal in appearance considering just how much "horsepower" she's got sitting on that desk! I'd love to build myself something similar one day
Adams look so professional. They look like something the military use for science.
Nice artist, nice studio, nice monitors✌🏻
Good to see JakoJako again, she’s awesome!
She is absolutely unique! Thank you for your inspiration, which you gave me back through your lovely nature for several years without music! It definitely encourages me to catch up with electronic music again
I think I just fell in love
Love these monitors indeed. How cool she has a Timetosser in her setup!
"If it's a dance floor I go bang" :)
amazing - and barker too!
Very informative and I can also appreciate and relate as I like to create using my synths for my own enjoyment as well. Great lecture 👌 😊
Her music lulls my warring mind into surrender
Beautiful. THNX!
Love Jakojako

Super. Sławek -Poland, Europa
Background music sounds a lot like that one Minecraft Theme, gave me nostalgia haha
7:30 It's ironic that time away gives time back to us.
Very interesting, and a nice presentation. I've seen JakoJako on here (YT) many times, but only really heard her music properly recently, sounds great.
On a side note, why is everybody's studio always neat and tidy, yet mine seems to be rather untidy ...?
I bet they knew when the film crew was coming and made it tidy just right in time.
GOSH
Track ID throughout the video? I love her music!

So german haha. Good stuff!!
Lovely setup and approach to music making! I wonder how JakoJako makes the #MIDIclock from Ableton Live workable 🤷🏼♂️ I never could make it work, always drifted after some minutes. Unstable, jittered. I ditched the computer for making music and in hardware world, it just works. Not as stable and tight as DINsync, which is my favourite now. I went with an E-RM #multiclock because I like having the flexibility to choose DINsync or MIDI clock plus the additional features like clock division and nudging per channel.
Still amazed how Sibel made it work. Please do elaborate :-)
As far as your midi drifting issues are concerned - were you using USB midi or a midi cable?
@@Systemv1 Normal MIDI cabling from an to the RME Babyface. Which is of course connected via USB. That being said, this MIDI-jittered-clock problem is known for ages now, hence the existance of companies/products like the E-RM multiclock, Innerclock Systems or the ACME-4 by SND. To me it was unbearable. Funky in a bad way.
@@wackerburg Interesting, I've not had any noticeable issues with an RME Babyface, midi cable, Live 10, and a Windows i7 machine. What OS and version of Live were you using? One thing I have noticed was certain software (eg Massive X) causing huge internal, and by proxy probably external, jitter issues, to the point where midi DAW was unusable, but only at high sample rates.
@@Systemv1 I am on OSX (not the latest one, but not too far behind, don't know right now) and Ableton Live 10.
I've used Live's clock for over 10 years with zero MIDI sync issues. I'm syncing about 20 devices with zero issues. I'd look into your computer's specs. Perhaps you're under powered.
Mind sharing what that mixer is? Looks inviting.
Any clue?
