Manuel's EVO6 is LEGIT!!! Would love to have a go. Also, is it just me or do the hot-V turbo V8's in the AMG GT's sound weird to you too? All of em from the S all the way to the Black series. I know they like the setup because there's literally no piping in between the heads & turbos for less lag but they just sound off to me.
I had a huge argument about this exact engine with a guy. He told me it sounded bad because it sounded like a motorcycle. Imagine not being able to enjoy an engine's sound because you associate it with a motorcycle. As if motorcycles sound bad...
Great video!! The Porsche's sound amazing, but the 997 was the best sounding by far imho. Mercedes was a bit disappointing, sounds like a lawnmower getting it on with a turbocharged hairdryer....

Seeing a gti run makes me so happy! You don’t usually see these in hillclimbs. I have a mk7 gti fbo around 360hp. The EA888 is a great platform to start with. I just need to dial the handling.
I love seeing the cars on this hill, but it must be really tough to run from a vision standpoint. The transition from bright Sunlight to the mottled appearance of the tree shadows on the pavement have always screwed me up, and I have pretty good peepers, according to my last exam for the government. But, these guys that are snapping this fast into and out of the turns, well, God bless them!
I don’t know what it is, but there’s literally nothing nice about the sound of the VW 2.0 TFSI in any form. Compare it to the Evo VI and you’ll get what I mean.
Unfortunately the touring car class it was originally built for mandates 2WD. I remember watching BTCC late at night & being surprised at non-Quattro Audi RS3 touring cars lol.

track looks really narrow and low speed, heavyweight 500hp FR is at a disadvantage
It’s way too overpowered for this track and can’t be in the right gear
