I could listen to an entire podcast of just Doug telling his drunk stories
The town in Virginia Doug was talking about could have been a little town called Bland, populationof roughly 3,000 at the time. I grew up there and there is an attraction exactly the way Doug described it, the tower, the gift shop, the shitty merch inside it, all on the side of a mountain. I used to go there all the time and that attraction is beloved, mostly because of the ice cream they serve in the gift shop. Best ice cream on the east side. Tower's cool too, you can see most of my old hangout spots from there. Nobody will see this comment, but hearing them talk about it on this podcast made me feek a certain way that i had to share :)
