@@RoIIingStoned I mean even if I wasn’t a Dino enjoyer it seems pretty obvious that an apex predator that hunts massive things like Triceratops would have to deal with being knocked over every now and then.
The problem I have with actors like Dawayne Johnson and Keanu Reeves is that I can never see the character they're playing as, I can only see the actor.
As someone who’s been working at an architecture firm, I can confirm that boring box design for commercial buildings has to boil down to cost, the architect can make a great design but the client will want to save money, and much of the materials and design is normally cut during the cost saving. Also building materials are more expensive which also inflated prices. One thing I really want to keep in touch with is the normal user rather than be all pompous like some others in the architecture community. It’s important to talk to the user and not just design! Thanks for bringing that up Andrew!
Doubt anyone here cares, but the T-Rex's arms are so small because they're vestigial. They were basically running a full STR build so they had no need for arms. Also, in order for an animal to develop wings, it would need to be a useful adaptation all the way through its evolution. In other words, the T-Rex would have needed to benefit from having wings since its ancient ancestors. T-Rex only became an apex predator at that point because the meta favored high STR and T-Rex was doing just fine without big arms.

the topic of the restaurant chains was really interesting to hear. I wanna say that its companies continuously pushing their minimalist appeal that seems to be really popular right now. Its also probably for construction ease and to improve the rate in which their franchises can expand. Oh and its really non-offensive to the current generation of people so they dont run the risk of losing customers over decisions that never have to happen in the first place. Its also probably really easy for their architects as well since the design is so cookie cutter, they just need to move around some walls and other facilities in each new branch to make it "feel different" while saving on actual cost of materials.

I'm most likely in the minority but I personally enjoy the "modernized" look of restaurants.
I did some research as to why modern architecture is so bad, but it’s not all on the architects themselves. Buildings are paid for through the money of investors, who demand cost effectiveness and quickness, and because of that, most buildings are gray squares. I wish buildings had more cultural elements to them again, gargoyles are cool
