A quick rundown of the story is shown here:
After his mother dies journeying to the clans and before she can take him across the river, he is found by Streamclan's medicine cat, Bearbelly. He takes the kit to the only currently nursing queen, Greyfern, who takes the kit in reluctantly. Brookstar, Greyfern's mate is also unhappy with the arrangement and puts strain on their relationship which only makes them dislike the kit more.
Bearbelly names him Snowkit, and tries his best to look after him, but his duties often get in the way.
Because of his outsider status and strange appearance, he is avoided by his littermates and taunted by other apprentices and clanmates. Seeing the naive and moldable kit, Emberfrost decides to take him under her wing, keen to enact her revenge on the clan and see Snow as the future leader which she will be able to control.
During his apprenticeship, a couple of kits go missing. Snowpaw eagerly joins the search party, both worried and wishing to prove himself. He comes across them but they have been cornered by a badger. Snowpaw instantly covers them, hoping to scare them off. In the process, he is swiped across the face by its giant paw. Despite his injury, he is able to injure the beast in turn, enough for it to give up.
Snowpaw is rushed to the medicine cat den where he has to endure the painful healing process. He is deemed a hero by most of the clan, however, Brookstar remains indifferent. Snowpaw is infuriated by this, someone who was meant to be a father figure, someone to look up to as his leader, reacts uncaring to his clanmates. Emberfrost uses his anger and kindles it.
Snowpaw grows up to become Snowfall, a quiet but efficient warrior, sometimes pegged as unfeeling and emotionless. One night, he receives a prophecy from Starclan about him and his sister (who lived in Mistclan). Emberfrost watches from the sidelines, obviously ecstatic.
Slowly but surely, Emberfrost convinces Snowfall that he must kill Brookstar and take his title as a leader, even if that means by force. Snowfall scales the high rock and confronts Brookstar, who is at first confused, then terrified of the large warrior he had neglected for so long. Snowfall kills Brookstar and even his next life. By now, a storm has broken out and Brookstar is thrown off the top of the high rock.
His clanmates gather frantically, but there was nothing to be done. Snowfall, despite his fury driving him to madness, calms and takes in the rain, while Emberfrost watches the chaos erupting below.
Bearbelly tries to quell the mob, stating that they couldn't kill Snowfall because of a prophecy and he has yet to fulfil his role. He is also desperate to protect him, even though his leader now lies dead at his paws. The clan let him go and he leaves with a dull expression and blood still dripping from his muzzle. He has succeeded in his goal, the clan would be stronger without Brookstar and he will now rest easy now that he plans to join his beloved sister.
But Emberfrost is infuriated by Snowfall leaving, yelling at him to return to his rightful post, but her pleas land on deaf ears.

Well, I can't believe this is finally done!! Took a little longer than expected, but here we are! I'm pretty proud of this and I hope that you liked it!
The first draft of this was actually created around 3 years ago, but after recently hearing the song again, I decided to pick it back up!

This is a fantastic watch with a fantastic story line!
I love how he walks off... that sort of ending is sometimes more satisfying than the character that goes on to be the number one and takes complete control.

Emberfrost could never understand his lack of ambition and want to lead. So she never looked past his act of killing Brookstar for more than just revenge, but his own form of justice. That was his only goal

I can!
So that dark she-cat (Emberfrost) at the end had been training and trying to manipulate Snowfall into killing and becoming the leader himself. But he only ever wanted to rid the clan of a selfish, almost tyrant cat. Snow never wanted leadership, so he accepts a self proclaimed banishment. Emberfrost (who's actually dead (in Starclan) if that wasn't clear) is furious at her wasted efforts as she thought by becoming leader, she could still easily control him. She yells at him to come back and take his rightful place, but he still leaves. The kit at the very end is Snowkit, it is meant to represent that this didn't just happen overnight, instead if he was treated right, and Brookstar had loved him like a son, it wouldn't have lead up to this.
