People asking why Angelina Jolie is in these clips...because she portrays Gia in the biopic movie Gia. This movie was way before her Lara Croft success in the 90s and I thought it was a really great depiction of her. This movie doesn't get the credit it deserves.
I feel like Angelina tried hard to be punk rock. Like her runway scenes are so hard to watch lol Angelina Jolie is also pretty. But she isn't Gia pretty!❤😊😊

Heartbreaking, especially when you see that there was hardly anyone at her funeral. So there you go, friends as long as you have money and fame. The day she needed real help, everyone was gone and this is still the case today.
I had the last Cosmopolitan magazine in 1982 with Gia on the cover. I had no idea who she was until I watched the movie with Angelina Jolie. We had lived in Philly from 1970-1981 before moving to the suburbs. Had I known what I had I wouldn't have thrown the magazine out when I finished reading it. ☹️

Thank you for the video, i love Gia, she was so beautiful and she could have lived a long life, she was on so much pain emotionally and not one person helped her to recover and start over. As a mother you don’t ever give up on your child.

That's right! They weren't her friends. Her only real friend came later in life and that was Rob Fay. He was there for Gia in a NON s3xual way which is probably something she never had from any man other than Rob Fay and Joe Petrellis. The rest of them knew she was gay or that she preferred women and they still wanted to get in her pants. But I guess it was her choice or maybe not as to what happened or didn't happen, sometimes.
I remember finding out months after the fact that Gia had died. I was appalled. She barely received a mention in the news.
"Platonic girl crushes" NAW, it was more than that, she liked girls the way a boy likes a girl. As she grew she loved women the way a man loves a woman.

I saw her beauty diminish right before my eyes do to heavy drug use. Her story is very sad, however I never felt sorry for her until she became sick and died of AIDS (no one deserve's that) but as far as Im concerned she hit the lottery and threw it all away. A lot of us have many deep issues from childhood but we don't shoot up dope all day.
That is true. But she was in an environment where people's superficiality and selfishness were probably unrivalled. She hardly had a chance to escape all that when she was so young. If she had grown older, she might have had a chance.

Many of them do and the photographer falls in love with the model too or in lust.

They ‘love’ what the camera can do for their career in the agency. It’s a very competitive business when there are a hundred beautiful people behind you inline for your job.
A staff photographer might have a dozen shoots a week - there’s rarely anything personal.
My friend was pretty successful and once told me that beauty can also be a curse.

Yes, the photographer has to capture the best photo which may require some trust and intimacy between them and the subject and perhaps when all is said and done it is no longer personal or that it never was.. Although, the subject may be use to the attention or not when a photographer is.taking reel after reel they or one of them could fall for the attention this stranger or known photographer is giving them. I don't know as I am not a subject nor a photographer but I surmise. Thanks for listening.
