My mother in-law depend on me to do al her diy. And because I set an expectation with the first few diy tasks I did for her, she now completely depends on me to do all her diy’s 🤦🏽‍♂️😓😅. Thanks for the video. Just finished tiling her kitchen “with some additional help from the comments”, and once again, I’m the son-in-law she doesn’t regret having 🤣

How do you adhesive the first tile if you can't see the pencil mark, would you go off the one right next to it?

Or you can just use a tape measure to save laying tiles down

It's always better to lay them out

Never trust a tile instructor that dusts off his pants ha or wears all black clothes on tile day

One can just use a measuring tape , it is more accurate and faster

That is true but he is trying to educate and visual Learning is alot better for most people.

I would say that this was more of a visual demonstration which you can't do that with a tape measure

Centre both ways and if your cuts aren’t decent centre tile on you your first line More accurate way and not by eye by tape how it’s exact.. but not bad for diy heads..

What about just buying larger or smaller tiles?

This guy gives me a lot of confidence as he is so bad if he can manage to achieve anything I am sure I can.

I would think that anyone that needs to go searching for a video to figure out how to start would also fail at calculating using a tape measure. The tile is visual

No matter how good you plan, the four corners or the grout line never be even

This is how people acted before social media 🤣 I don't know, what's worse now or then. This video was probably filmed in 2008
