@@jaydenfeagaiga4143 basketball has 10 players on the court 5 on 5, each team has a coach, and organized sets they play according to. It is played with a basketball 🏀 and players on each team attempt to score the ball responding to the other team’s organized defensive schemes. In this game, LeBron will thrive in that cuz that is HIS game.
1on1 is about learning the opposing player’s tendencies and to predict how a player will come off at each position on the court. That is Kobe’s game.
If you asked LeBron to deal with Kobe in a playoff series, he will make it so he is always switched off of Kobe to get an easier matchup so he can either shoot over or find snipers on the perimeter to shoot. He will learn all of Kobe’s teams’ defensive structures and strengths and weaknesses of each player.
Basketball is a game that can be played in many different ways, and is beyond the simply constraints of “can he guard him”. I understand Jordan’s style made you feel that way but this is basketball. Nobody ever said Bron can beat Kobe 1on1, anybody who is sensible and actually pays attention can differentiate both their games without looking like a fool online.

Lebron has no type of offensive skillset as far as using different moves to score.. It's just pound or drive the ball inside. He's skilled enough to get it done but just like Shaq they mainly dominate because they were gifted with a physical advantage of size, strength and mobility. Not really that skilled offensively other than his passing. Great defender and rebounder tho. But lebron could never guard kobe.. But kobe can zone in and lock him up.

lebron is an overrated defensive player and rebounder as well. For a guy his size and the lack of big man in his era, he isn't that good of a rebounder.
Compare him to Larry Bird, in his era there was a lot of quality bigs and poor spacing on the floor, he gets 10 rebounds. Bird wasn't as atheletic as Lebron either.

Kobe 2006 etc so what you're telling me is if kobe didn't jack up those shots and covert them into 28 points the lakers would have still won? Besides who else would be the offense other than shaq? Derek Fisher? Rick Fox? Also shaq and kobe joined the lakers in 1996. If shaq could carry a team how come they didn't win there? As soon as kobe got good so did the Lakers.
