- In this video, I will show you how to estimate the parry timing to execute perfect parrying to defeat the untouchable winter lantern deadly enemies at Abyssal Woods in Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.
I highly recommend that you use either small shields with default parry AoW or use a medium shield infused with Carian Retaliation or Golden Parry Ash of War.

What makes this enemy 'hard' to parry is that its hand is smol and its head is big (distracting) xD
Aging Untouchable, that is the name of this enemy. Please everyone, retain KNOWLEDGE.
I found it easy to time it by running up to them and when their hand is raised. I also figured out that instead of using the parry critical that you can just hit them normally when they are staggered from the parry and they still take damage which meant I didn’t have to parry them twice
That can be done too, provided your build and weapon can produce maximum damage in such a short time.
Excellent tips my man. Haven't found this area yet, looks scary tho!
Thanks! It's too bad they don't respawn after died. They're like the Crucible Knights.
“I’m not locked here with you. You’re locked here with me”
That's the attitude!💪
why i got oneshot by them despite having 55 vigor?
My guess is that you have low faith or magic resistance. Better use the boost HP talisman to make room for mistake in parrying. Quickly roll backward and run to heal, then fight again.
What amor are You wearing?
I think it was Iron Rivet armor. You need to beat the secret boss called Red Bear.
