@@phyliciajoykloesyou should! It was delicious 😍 if made by the right person, I’m sure you’ll love it!
You have come a long way since the negative comments you and your mom made about Nigerians in your earlier videos to now embracing Nigerian food.. Shows how much you have matured and opened your minds ... Well done
Its hard to stay angry at Nigerians once you actually get to know them. They r some of the kindest n most fun ppl
Wow, y'all had that egusi soup extra thick. Looks good tho 👍🏾
Love your new intro!!! ESP the hand at the end, that’s clever for your channel.
Aww I’m glad you noticed! Thank you for watching! ❤❤ Big thanks to Percy Studios for helping me bring the vision I had for my new intro to life!
I am a Sierra Leonean Ricki, the food looks amazing! but I've never heard of potato leaves egusi soup....this sounds like a concoction that has been derived as a result of the cross cultures and intermingling of people from the the various countries of the West African sub-region, just like jollof rice. I would like to eventually try it though❤
Well done o
Sister Ricki and friends cooked fufu and egusi 😂

I love the new intro
Yayy! Thank you for noticing ❤
It’s nice to see your wonderful generation cooking emphasis on cooking traditional foods together and enjoying. I like egusi it’s a nice vegan option for me. In Ghana they cook it typically with kontomorie (greens) then add the egusi liquid. It’s a great alkaline alternative instead of soya, tofu etc.
Awesome! Thank you for sharing! That sounds delishhh😍
@@rickidenise it's very delish 😊
I love fufu. A lovely lady from our neighborough, we have an house in farato, come often to sell it. With a really good sauce. I miss Africa

Ouuu! That is exciting! Have you ever been there before ? Or has he?
@@rickidenise Yes and yes! He moved to America at 18 for college. We visited as a family for the first time in November! My mom and sister joined my husband, son and me. It was an amazing experience.
Eat food with your right hand

@@rickidenise oh yeah sorry
Nice video I missed home 😁
😂 Ricki crayfish is its own creature. Like a small lobster 🦞
That’s what I thought at first.. I was like I’m sure crayfish is it’s own thing.. 🤣But apparently dried shrimp is called crayfish in Nigeria!
