I worked for an ENT who also specialized in reconstructive surgery of the head and neck and one of our patients was an 8 year old who had this done. I was very impressed and pleased that his parents were able to do this for him because it made a huge difference to his confidence. Seeing him blossom after his surgery was incredible.
It breaks my heart pepole made her feel bad about then so she had to do this...
For everyone wanting to get surgery, please know how beautiful you are natural. I hope you can grow to become more confident in yourself, and realize that you don't need it. Anyone telling you otherwise, don't know what they are saying

hii, if I may ask, was there anything bad about your experience? (I've been considering otoplasty for myself but am a bit scared since I've been hearing that it leaves people with ears feeling extremely stiff for years and that you're not able to put on sunglasses etc.)
@@karollina1865 hi there! So it’s been two years now I am my ears are completely healed. However, it was a long healing process. It took months before I could even like lay on my ears. it was definitely more painful than I thought, but I still think it was worth it.

Anesthesia can be scary, but it’s safe.
Have you had surgery before?
Anesthesia is actually pretty fun from the patients POV, if you’ve ever had surgery before. It was in my experience anyway. I’ve had two and it feels like flowing into nothing when they put you under. You won’t remember any of it when you wake up

I thought it took a extremely long time for the surgery and the tip of her ears should be more rounded in my opinion as I watched a man have this done and it was a hour per ear and it took him 2 hrs just setting up???

I have exactly that problem with my ears and I'm sure if i should have that surgery or not anyone could tell me?
Well first of all, really think about it, personally anyone with ears like hers are so cute and beautiful and I wish I had them myself, but if it’s really a problem for you do some research and see if you’d like to do it.
It depends on your parents if your parents are paying but I think your ears are not ugly

A mother should think her daughter is beautiful regardless and it’s sad that you’re indirectly saying she isn’t cute or her ears are ugly. If she grows to be insecure about them in the future (hopefully not due to your gross opinion on her looks) then she may get them but why would you even care what you’re own infant looks like if it doesn’t affect her life. Sad

When you go under general anesthesia your eyes are taped shut so they don’t dry out.

@@user-fx9bj1zp2g alright, first you kick them in the stomach so at that point they can’t really move they are catching their breath. Punch them in the nose area as hard as possible multiple times.

I hope someone has a good heart to help me. I also dream of having an ear surgery since I was a child. Until now Im 41 years old, but I don't have enough money to get an otoplasty surgery.
