- I finally figured out how to keep my toes and feet dry and toasty so I can be in the Great Outdoors for hours and focused on having fun rather than focused on how friggin cold I am and how frozen my feet are. I have been telling all my friends about this and I wanted to share that with the rest of the world so everyone can go outside and have fun and stay warm!

Now that you won't have cold toesies - get out there and enjoy the great outdoors! Products mentioned in the description.
Nice system … Just got some merino wool socks on prime day . They are awesome .
Thanks! good information
what a necessary video OMG, having cold feet is the worst thing, I'll have those tips in mind when I go to the snow 😂❄️
Sooo you're coming to visit? 😉
Thank you so much for your advice! So excited to try the insoles out on the slopes!
You're welcome :) so much more enjoyable when you're not freezing
Thanks a lot! I live in Switzerland and tend to avoid the mountains in winter for this reason. Hate being cold. Gotta look into this system!
report back on if any of those helped!
Anti perspirant is a good idea
Very thorough, thanks. I think the little chemical/disposable hand/foot warmers are good for most people, only cost like 25 cents each, the trick for feet is to put them on TOP of your toes, on top of your stock not in your sock. But yea sometimes they can shift around a little and be a bit annoying.
It also gets overly too hot and then you're sweating
Why on top? I figured putting them under my toes would rise the heat upwards
Just snowboarded in "feels like - 18C today 😰 survived using my methods
Btw great job
Thank you for your great advice. We just came back from Norway and Finland just lats week. It was from -11 degree to -35. Our body clothings are good however, our toes and fingers get so so cold. I will look into the socks and heated insole you have recommended!! however, any recommendation to keep you fingers warm? What type of gloves/brand etc?? I have hand warms but still not the best.
I don't personally have any of the gloves but I sure want to get some! If you don't need to move too much in your gloves I'd recommend mittens. Here is one I found though it's not the only one, finger tips, thumbs and use of electronic devices hopefully it's available in your country amzn.to/3wfdZL6
@@GadgetsGearCoffee thank you so much. I'll have a look at it :)🤩
what is your trick for those time when you have a chair lift to take? I am too warm while going downill then when I take the lift I am freezzing. I have a thin coat and underneath I have a baselayer + a midlayer as a northface thermoball primaloft. I was great while I move (finally found the perferct balance to not be too hot and all sweaty) but the chair lift step even more when there is no sun (bc hidden by the montain) is still dreadful to me.
Dress for the chair - strip before you ski. I have big zip vents in my jacket and pants and lots of air space underneath >> insulates when zipped-up and stopped, but allows cool air to circulate easily when I'm unzipped and moving.
I have 100% merino wool shoe inserts and merino wool socks. After using Merino wool socks, I threw all my old cotton/poly socks away.
I've gotten rid of a lot of them, donated or sold them (I don't like wasting). My ultimate goal is to have like 10 pairs of socks all merino wool. I think I already have the 10 Merino wool but still have other socks in the drawer I can't get rid of
@@GadgetsGearCoffee agree 100%. I should have said gave away not throw. I donated them to a local shelter.
I haven't washed my ski socks for at least 6 trips, I know I know. They don't smell.
oh lawd, brave of you to write that on the internet lol that is the power of merino wool, if that's what you're using
wool is very cruel..im in oz and iv seen first hand the suffering of mothers and lambs. including freezing to death
Don't use Talc
Why? That's why I suggest the foot powder anyway, it's made for that and works well
