Installing a 30Amp Shore Power Inlet: Part 17 - RAM Promaster 2500 Van Conversion

  • Hey Friends, welcome to episode 17 of our RAM Promaster 2500 van build/conversion series. It’s finally time to move towards the electrical system of the van. And we start by installing a 30A shore power inlet, so that we can maximize our electricity intake while at RV parks.
    As with many of our projects, we ran into a little problem with this…after not planning the location of the inlet well enough. Not sure how we managed to mess It up, but we did. And we shamefully admit it .
    We will take you through all the steps we took in planning and installing the inlet. And if we can do it, YOU can do it .

    8 Stainless Streel #6 Washers
    4 Stainless Steel #6 Nuts
    And, of course, don’t forget your safety glasses.
