    Oh wow love it! I can't believe you painted your wood floors, I would never do it, I'd be freaking out! Wood or laminated floor? Please load a video of the before and after. Also the clear coat never knew she had such a product.

      Thanks! They are wood laminate I think but I've done wood, tile, & vinyl this way.
      Annie Sloan carries a specific Floor Lacquer just for this! :)
      The stencil is called Lisboa from Royal Designs.

    Just the distressed look I’m wanting to do. Did you film how you did the white paint over wood floor? Beautiful end result!

      Hi! I don’t think I did. :( But it’s pretty easy! Clean the floor first, rinse and then dry. Then chose your color and use Annie Sloan paint with about 10% water added and brush on. It dries quickly (within an hour) so you can decide if you need a second coat or if you like the distressed look.

    You don't want to "hide" dirty. You want to hide imperfections. Dirty, you clean!

      haha, true! but for some of us with little ones, we like to hide it until we have a chance to clean it when they are not underfoot. ;)

    Hi! I have a question did you chalk paint the floor white first and then the stencil?

    • @matthewrussell1027
      @matthewrussell1027 Před 5 lety

      Paint the wooden floor let it dry completely then sand it to age it. After you wipe that clean stencil

    • @verdigreen
      @verdigreen  Před 5 lety

      I did. I painted it Old White (with watered down paint as a "wash) then once it dried I stenciled it then I sanded it to distress it then I sealed it. :)
